Product overview

Power through bigger backyards with this Greenworks 530mm wide cut self-propelled lawnmower. With a full steel deck, powerful brushless motor and adjustable self-propelled drive, this G-MAX 40V mower is the future of lawn care.

A 3in1 530mm lawnmower is perfect for keeping bigger backyards trim and tidy without the hassle of fuel cans, oil and filter changes and chokes. Just charge up the 40V 6.0Ah lithium ion battery and get on with the job.

The 7 position height adjuster lets you easily change between 25mm up to 80mm cutting heights, while the big 530mm steel cutting blade mechanism features an impact protection cut-out for safety. The adjustable self-propelled drive makes your job even easier, powering along at up to 4.8km/h and making maneuvering simple, just hang on for the ride. The self-propelling function uses a separate variable speed electric motor, meaning there are no belts to slip, break, wear or fall off.

Built tough, this mower features a full steel deck which sets it apart from the competition.

The cutting-edge brushless motor provides more power, longer running time and higher speeds as well as greater efficiency and less noise, while the 55L catcher can handle plenty of clippings.

The spare battery compartment allows you to take a second battery with you, enabling you to switch half-way through the really big jobs.

This high-tech mower even features a built in load sensor to automatically regulate RPM based on load conditions, so you'll always have the right power for the conditions.

If you don’t want to dispose of your clipping it’s easy switching to side discharge or mulching modes, giving you plenty of options when it comes to handling your garden waste.

Greenworks Brushless DigiPro Series is an innovative solution for your garden tasks that rivals petrol-powered tools. Combined with the 40V G-MAX system, the Brushless DigiPro Series features a powerful brushless motor that improves the battery efficiency, delivers more power for greater performance, produces less noise and vibration, and extends the life of the motor for exceptional durability.

Traditional brushed motors tend to wear down over time, reducing efficiency and power. With a brushless motor, you can expect the same performance as the day you purchased it. The gear reduction design of the brushless motor also delivers greater torque.

Simplify your lawn care by ordering your clean, green and simple Greenworks DigiPro 40V lawnmower today.

Green Works lawn mower

Great battery powered lawn mower being self propelled makes the job effortless and very quiet.

Quiet mower Russell BOI
Self propelled mower

Very pleased with mower. Pleased to say goodbye to petrol motors Handles quite rough grass. I would recommend a second battery (not supplied anymore) if have a large lawn area.

Power & the quiet!

Great piece of kit - loads of power, big cutting diameter, self propelled - loving it! Can struggle for traction in tall wet grass but that is to be expected. We have loads of grass and had to buy another battery as it doesn't quite have enough juice to finish all of it, does about 3/4 and has to change battery.

OK with some issues

Pros: Area for spare battery on board. Battery duration gives me enough for about 300m2. Vertical storage is nice. Cons: Blade is too high above the bottom of the chassis. This pushes grass down or scrapes the ground rather than cutting. first hight setting scraped the grass too much, second setting is very high. Top two settings are crazy high. Moderately heavy, Hard to pull backwards due to being heavy and the friction form the self propeller. The self propeller adds some friction to the wheels when not being used (in hind sight I wish I got the non self propelled version as my straight runs are not long enough to get the benefit) Neutral: Battery charging takes maybe an hour and a half, but I havent measured this. wide base is nice as it means less runs, but it needs a flat lawn as it otherwise scrapes the ground over humps or doesnt cut deep enough over dips due to the longer span between wheels.

No, I do not recommend this product.
Bye bye petrol can

I’ve been using a greenworx line trimmer and chainsaw for a while so with this purchase I’ve been able to say goodbye to my petrol can and pull start engines. The convenience of electric power is great and the battery life is pretty good. I get 40 minutes of mowing from one battery and the mower came with two so plenty to get through my 1hour mow. The self-propelled function takes a bit of getting used to for those that normally mow forward then back but it’s very useful on hills. Some of my lawn is very thick buffalo and it gets through that no problem so there is plenty of power for most situations. It may struggle to cut back very overgrown sections but with the convenience this mower provides there’s no excuse to let it get to into this state. The catcher has a very secure fit and it does a good job of catching. I haven’t used the mulch function yet. I mow our kikuyu & buffalo on level 1 and our fescue on level 2. Some my find their preferred height sits somewhere between the two which may be a frustration and if you like a really short lawn even level 1 may not be low enough for you.
