Power to Mow

This was a very interesting decision to purchase such a big mower. But the Main reasons were, being ALL Electric - there no longer any fumes in storage. I liked it had ALL Cutting options including Mulch mow. Being Self Propelled was a plus as I am now 69 and will let me keep enjoying my mowing for many years to come. To date I have used it on 1st/slowest speed and found it a little slow and 2nd speed is a little fast. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great lawnmower

This lawnmower is everything we needed, we have a sloped uneven lawn and it makes light work of the job. Def need a second battery for the larger sections. Takes a bit of getting used after having a petrol mower, self propelling function has its own idiosyncrasies but after the 4th use these don't matter so much

Works well - my son and I both love it.

My son and I really love the convenience of this mower compared to our old petrol lawnmower. We have quite a big lawn but this mower gets around it on one charge. It seems to cut the grass okay and we are currently using the mulcher without any issues. As with the line trimmer I also purchased, I do wonder about the lifespan of the battery but so far very impressed.

A Cut Above the rest

Forget your hard to start petrol mower. This battery powered mower starts every and has enough battery to mow a large section. It is self propelled for faster easier use. The charger quickly recharges the battery in one hour. It comes with all the options catcher, side chute or mulch and can cut high or low

What A Weapon

This mower is 10/10. The build quality and power on this beast is second to none. Drive function is smooth and consistent. The mover is still light enough to manually push around for corners / in around trees. Catcher fills up nicely and is easy to connect and disconnct. I also purchase the 80v line trimmer and that too is super powerful, when edging the lawn I turned it down to low speed and it still managed to cut clean lines in the edges no problem.

Exceeds expectations.

I had to study buying an electric mower very carefully, because it is for the wife!! So far it exceeds expectations and i can`t see any reason for that not continuing.

Best on market

I did a lot of research prior to buying a battery mower and the greenworks 80v came out on top on all of my mower features wish list. Time will tell how the longevity is but the warranty is long

Excellent machine!

I have just finished mowing my Kikuya lawn with my new mower. I had left the kikuya growing for 11 days and it was reasonably long and thick from Spring growth plus some weed and feed 7 days ago. The mower pulled me through no problems and the lawn took me half the time that my old petrol mower took. As well, I was not out of breath! I had spent 6 months debating my purchase and compared it with other stores machines for price and features. I am very pleased that I purchased this 80volt 5Amp mower. After 40mins mowing the battery is only half its juice. I used the self propelled feature for most of my mowing. Highly recommended to geriatrics like me who still mow their own lawns. By my calculations, it will take less than 2 years to pay for itself rather than getting contractors in who don't do as good a job!

Nice mower

I like my new mower. I particularly selected it because of its self drive function. It doesn't take long to get the hang of when and how to use it. I would recommend getting two batteries if you have a lawn that takes more than 45minutes to mow.

Breezy Mowing

Great mower, does take some time to get used to the levers and self driving, especially when turning. Cuts and collects grass perfectly.
