The Greenworks 40V 2-in-1 dethatcher and scarifier is perfect for revitalising & reviving the most tired and spongiest of lawns.
Note: This tool is a skin only & does not include a battery or charger, these must be purchased separately.
Designed for medium yards, this unit allows you to easily remove thatch and aerate your soil, at the same time as helping encourage a healthy new growth.
Use the sprung de-thatcher attachment to remove thatch, dead grass and other debris to prepare your lawn for new growth. This might be enough depending on the state of your lawn or, switch to the heavier scarifier attachment to continue this process while adding a scouring action to aerate the soil to promote growth. The grooves created are also ideal for overseeding, being ideal spots for the new seed to germinate.
Thanks to its brushless motor it dramatically reduces vibrations and requires minimal maintenance.
With a 5 position adjustable height, this unit allows for a working depth range of -12cm to +5cm with the use of one lever.
The easy-fold system allows you to fold up & store or transport with ease - no more bulky gear taking up room in the shed!

This little machine exceeded my expectations. Quick and easy. Sits beside my Greenworks mower. If I require any more power garden equipment it will be 40 volt Greensworks for me
In view of the price, I wasn't expecting the unit to perform as well as it does. The body is light to handle and the scarifier and dethatcher easy to exchange. I was surprised when the scarifier really grooved the lawn so thoroughly. Likewise ,the amount of dead grass and other debris lifted by the dethatcher. Obviously, when the machine is working hard the battery runs down correspondingly. However, it's easy to exchange batteries. The catcher is a bit small and fills rapidly. I don't use it as it is easy enough to rake up the thatch etc produced.
I bought this machine with the hope that it would pull up the Kikuyu grass from my horse yards to make it easier to muck out the dung. It was brilliant, effective & easy. Also want to use it for dead sprayed weeds that are unsightly but havent tried as yet.
Great machine, certainly gets the thatch and dead grass removed. A bit hard on the battery but this is relative to the hard state of the grass. So light and easy to use. Highly recommend.
Great little machine. Light and easy to use. With the two included attachments makes it good value too. If you want a good looking healthy lawn, this is a must buy.
A great wee machine! I waited for over 12 months for Trade Tested to get these machines into stock, and the wait was well worth it. Just look at my lush grass after a wee aeration!
Recently purchased & amazed at how efficient this machine is. Took 6 wool fadges of thatch off 300sqm of lawn & that was only using the 2 highest settings. Looking forward to seeing how the lawn responds but it looks heaps better. I have 5 other Greenworks Products & highly recommend them all
