Do these have a "life". I have used one of these for a couple of years, and it has suddenly stopped taking a charge. It has had a lot of use. I have tried it in my other charger and that does not seem to charge it either. The green light shows it is fully charged, but comes on as soon as I turn on the power. When I put the battery in the saw it does not work. It could be worn out. Any suggestions?
These come with a 3 Year Greenworks Battery Warranty.

Are all batteries interchangeable ie if I brought the 12 in Chainsaw, could I also get a 6Ah battery and it would fit?
Yes, that's correct. This will fit any of the Greenworks 40V range

So happy to not breathe in petrol fumes every time I want to cut some grass! A brilliant product, especially for someone living off grid.

It doesn't take long to charge and it seems to go and go. I set it to charge the night before and its fully charged when I awake. So far I have trimmed the hedge for approx 3 hours and it has never missed a beat.

40 volt 2ah battery

40 volt 2ah battery , purchased an extra battery when I bought the long reach hedge trimmer. I can use for approx 40 minutes before it needs charging. Yes I would recommend.
