Great Battery
I can how mow all my lawn without a break
Works well great to have two batteries
Excellent product works well thought for size it would get more than 3 small mows but I still recommend this product
Excellent product. Always great from the trade tested team
I was curious as to how well 4.0Ah batteries would perform in a heavy mower - let's just say I'm "on the fence" about them. One of the 3 I bought doesn't have the same run time as the other 2, but I've yet to do extensive testing under different scenarios to confirm this. Charging is a bit slow to what I'm used to, but probably in line with the power of these batteries. Depending on grass length and other variables, I can get up to 45 minutes of effective mow time, bearing in mind that's not 45 minutes of run time since there are frequent stops to empty the catcher. When the grass is longer than a couple of cm, effective usefulness drops to 20-25 minutes, which is to be expected. For those people who have large/difficult lawns to mow, I think you might find the performance of these batteries a bit of the light side. Unfortunately, there are no 6 or 9Ah versions available (even though they'd be expensive). I bought 2 to go with the one I got with the new mower - I may yet buy a 4th. I can see 3 won't be enough for spring growth later this year, and the relatively slow charging time means that I could end up with significant delays trying to complete the mowing I want to do. I suppose in all fairness, these batteries represent reasonable value for money - just don't expect miracles from them, and be mindful that charging time is at least 45 minutes (don't quote me on that - I haven't spent the time yet to time one). What WOULD be good is if Trade Tested sold a double charger with 2 batteries pack at a good price.
Plenty of Umph
Good long lasting.
it is good to have two batteries now. we use them both for the weed eater and also for the motor mower. great.
