530mm World Trade Mower

I've only used this machine twice so far, but am pleased with how clean a lawn it provides without using a catcher, because it spreads the cuttings quite well. My only disappointment is that after the second use I discovered that the nuts holding the plastic grass chute in place (which I'd fitted and tightened with a spanner) had disappeared. That seems to mean I'll have to transport the entire mower somewhere to get nuts of suitable size and pitch. Peter

Good mower

The good: ready for action out of the box. Don't forget to add oil and gas. Side discharge is an advantage when tackling larger lawns. The bad: the lowest cutting setting leaves the grass a bit higher than what I'd like it to be

Easy start. Quiet operation.

It has been a few years since I have owned a petrol lawn mower but it was a welcome surprise how quiet the engine is. The mulcher with the smoothing flap works wonderful on lawns and the 4 wheel independent height adjustment allows for precise height setting (although a little fiddly). The engine is more than powerful enough, although the engine switches off when bogged down with grass (chest high grass) - but that isn't what a finishing lawn mower is for. I don't like the Operator Present bar I'd recommend you don't cut off the cable tie when it arrives.

Not so good

The mower clogs up at the discharge point if the grass is a bit damp. The individual height adjusters are fiddly and hard to see where they line up once there is grass around that area.
