Hyundai Lawnmower 510mm 196cc Self-Propelled

Nice looking lawnmower, runs very smooth and quiet, a little heavier than my old one, self propelled works well just dont like the presence lever. Only seems to 3/4 fill the catcher before blocking the chute. Only seems reflection I should have gone all out for the zero turn model.

I have had this mower for about 3 years and it has been extremely reliable. Starts great, very good engine. Bit i don't like. Too low on low, not low enough on second setting. I drilled an extra hole between the 2. Grass catcher does not fill before falling back into the blade. It is heavy so if you are concerned buy the one with the wheels on the front. 8/10

Brilliant lawnmower easy to set up a breeze to use. Easy to push around even with out the self drive engaged. Brought oil with it but didn't need it as it came with a bottle in the box. (Would have been nice to know that but oh well. ).

Nice mower, with good power.. The side mulching cover, easily comes off, even we gently hit it. But otherwise, no issues at all.

Highly recommend just added oil that came with mower ,put petrol in and on the second pull she fired up. Was so impressed bought a second one for the batch ,great on big lawns and angled terrain

This was a great purchase. It has heaps of power, and it seems to be a lot easier to keep nice, straight lines. My old self-propelled lawnmower was always wanting to go left. Better still, the price is great. You will not find a better deal anywhere. It also came with everything to get started right away, apart from the gasoline, of course.

We have a medium sized lawn with a hill slope this mower makes it so easy with the self propelled drive came with a big catcher and also mulches if need be

Tradetested is doing their customers a disservice with this product description. from the reviews its clear the wrong people are buying it for the wrong reasons. they think a self-propelled mower is easier. its not, it is just different. it needs to be heavier to have sufficient traction to move forward- that defeats the reason weaker, older people buy it. if your doing a simple flat suburban lawn buy the lightest push mower you can find, not this. I use it on 11000m block to cut around my tree lines. if the designers saw what i do with this beast they would have stroke. I love it because its big and heavy and chews along. yes it clogs up but its not a 3.5k professional mower so just mow in the dry and take bites at the height- just have a little think about it. its amazing value. I love it and very happy with the particular work it does for me.

I am used to an old fashioned pull and go mower, and was a bit nervous to start. The enclosed instruction booklet was very basic and so i watched a couple of you-tube videos that covered set-up and starting. The extra tips were useful and increased my confidence. One big issue i had was that the dipstick for the oil is black so it is really hard to tell whether you have the right amount of oil in it or not. A light grey colour would be way easier to read. Third lawn mow and i am starting to really enjoy using the mower. I find the self-drive pace quite comfortable. I tend to move everything i need to before i start and to weed-eat around the fiddly bits first and then use the mower on the larger pieces of lawn, as it can be a little awkward to manoeuvre and cuts out when you take your hands off the lever. I like the large capacity of the bag - when full, it doesn't feel too much heavier when on flat lawn and using the self drive function, and saves multiple starting and stopping to empty it. Doesn't cut as low as my old mower but the cut lawn looks good, so maybe thats not a bad thing. The folding handles are really helpful for storage. Overall - very happy with the mower and surprised at just how much quicker it is to mow the lawns.
