I bought this for my sister's 8 week old kitten and they both just love it. My sister's furniture is now sake from little sharp claws and the kitten just loves clawing a t it and hiding under it. I highly recommended this product.
Looks nice but not quite sturdy enough or the right angle for my adult cat to use as a scratcher. Scratching part also not very thick / dense so cats claws wouldn't sink in much. Probably fine for kittens to play & sit on so I gave mine to a friend with kittens. Got a wave shaped cardboard scratcher for my cat instead and she used it right away.
This is so much better than the messy cardboard one I had before. Took a while for my cat to use it but she loves it.
Looks great but cat not interested in it all unfortunately.
Tried everything to get the cat to scratch this or even notice it but she has zero interest
Our cat has shown no interest in this whatsoever, its just become another thing cluttering up our floor
I have bought multiple cardboard scratchers in the past for my cat and, while they did the job, they left a mess everywhere. This is such lovely quality, doesn't generate any mess and I my cat loves it!
It's fabulous but my cats use it for hiding toys underneath and diving under to get them or just sit in it rather than use as a scratcher.
Tried this -- cat wasn't interested -- completely ignores it -- when I tried to scratch on it to get her interest she looked at me as if I was nuts! I think she hates it. I have since bought a cat scratch mat from another source and that really hits the spot, as soon as she comes in she is onto it scratching, playing, rolling over, and generally enjoying it! The other one just didn't float her boat.
Cat not interested at all.
