The GARDENA Rain Sensor works in conjunction with GARDENA Water Computers by stopping irrigation during a rainfall and starting it again once the rain stops, lowering water consumption.
The sensitive optical lens detects the start of rainfall quickly. The Rain Sensor can be placed in a gravel-filled flower pot or directly on a solid surface. The length of the connection cable is 5 m.

With water restrictions and a growing shortage of water becoming commonplace, I looked for a water sensor to control the amount of water being used on my garden. Easily plugged into my Gardena water sensor with the sensor placed on a stake in the garden I’m happy with the result.
