This semi-cassette awning is made from durable 280g/m2 acrylic fabric that is water and dirt-repellent, and blocks 90% of light and 99% of UV rays.
The steel hand crank and retractable arm can be used to quickly adjust the shade desired at any time of day. The powder coated Aluminium frame and arms keep the awning strong, sturdy and corrosion free.
This cassette unit attaches easily to the wall using the included brackets and heavy duty anchors - an easy install for solid brick/masonry. If installing on weatherboard or timber remember to make sure to secure to a stud or roof joist using coach screws (not included).

CARE GUIDANCE
This awning is designed to withstand wind speeds of force 5 on the Beaufort scale (corresponds to wind resistance class 2) & provides light rain protection, however we highly recommend retracting in any high winds or heavy rain, to avoid bowing or sagging. If you notice heavy rain, retract your awning until it passes, then pull it out again to dry off in the sun. Do not leave the awning retracted for a long period of time when it is wet, otherwise mould and/or spores can form.

I've only had this installed for a few weeks, but so far it seems a good purchase. It takes 50 cranks to extend it out fully thus providing some good exercise. All parts and instructions were to fix it to a solid concrete or brick wall so I had to improvise to fit it to the end of our all-wood veranda. I also have put in uprights to hold it at its extremity to strengthen it against wind and gusts.
Works really well and easy to wind in and out. We also took it to pieces and powder coated all the external pieces window bronze to match window joinery and reassembled. Easy to adjust the angle My neighbour is thinking about getting one as well
Great product, does what we need it to. Not good in high wind
Great unit and easy to install. Mine is attached to a wooden beam, just used the recommended sized lag screws which worked well. Pleased that the brackets remain in place and you can easily remove the unit for winter (its located in Twizel and so has very harsh winters) - so can easily take down and pout back up in ~5 minutes. Total install time was around 30 minutes with two of us, that included making a couple of mistakes. Angle adjustment is not the kind of job you would want to be doing all that often, but to be honest I can't imagine that we would ever need to do that again. Rolling out and back in again is super easy. All in all, for the price this has been an excellent investment with zero regrets.

We are stoked with our awning. Instructions were clear and it was easy to put up. Definitely needed 2 adults and an extra kid to hold stuff! We attached this to a cabin so got coach screws (which was instructed to do if attaching to wood).

This awning is great value for the money. The quality is also very good. I actually took the awning apart and got the off-white powder coated metal parts done in Iron sand to match my joinery and it looks great. .

I read many reviews before I purchased my 4mt awning. I can highly recommend this product. As I wanted to attach under soffit. I purchased 3 bracelets from another store. Do not under size your brackets. I painted the galvanized to match everything.
