2. 2. Each shade sail includes 5 mm stainless steel D-rings sewn into reinforced corners. Attach them using quality fittings.
3. 3. Connect all but one corner, tension the final side evenly, and make sure accessories face inward toward the centre.
4. 4. The shade sail should sit tight with a gentle slope (about 15-20 degrees) to allow rain run-off and prevent sagging.

To install your sunshade securely, you’ll need the correct shade sail fixing kit, sold separately:

1. Triangle Fixing Kit: includes 3 x pad eyes and 3 x 316-grade stainless steel turnbuckles, designed to fit our 3.6m triangular sails
2. Square Fixing Kit: includes 4 x pad eyes and 4 x 316-grade stainless steel turnbuckles, suitable for both 3.6m and 5m square sails.

Each pad eye can be fastened to a wall, fence, or post, while the turnbuckles connect to the shade sail’s corner D-rings for a firm, professional finish. Both kits utilise marine-grade stainless steel for its strength and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for NZ’s climate.
