This semi-cassette awning is made from durable 280g/m2 acrylic fabric that is water and dirt-repellent, and blocks 90% of light and 99% of UV rays.
The steel hand crank and retractable arm can be used to quickly adjust the shade desired at any time of day. The powder coated Aluminium frame and arms keep the awning strong, sturdy and corrosion free. This awning includes an attachable valance for a classic look, or leave it off for a crisper modern style.
This cassette unit attaches easily to the wall using the included brackets and heavy duty anchors - an easy install for solid brick/masonry. If installing on weatherboard or timber remember to make sure to secure to a stud or roof joist using coach screws (not included).

CARE GUIDANCE
This awning is designed to withstand wind speeds of force 5 on the Beaufort scale (corresponds to wind resistance class 2) & provides light rain protection, however we highly recommend retracting in any high winds or heavy rain, to avoid bowing or sagging. If you notice heavy rain, retract your awning until it passes, then pull it out again to dry off in the sun. Do not leave the awning retracted for a long period of time when it is wet, otherwise mould and/or spores can form.

This is our second awning from Trade tested, we bought this same awning around 8 years ago. The first one lasted around 5 years before it started to break and skew, it eventually became impossible to wind in. We probably got around 6.5 years out of it. This is still the most affordable, retractable awning I could find for our situation. Its, a great size, and as we only want it for sun protection, we really appreciate being able to wind it in for long term storage. The new version is fully charcoal, so much more attractive than the original, but we still hate the frill so have chosen not to put that on. The awning is easy to wind out, but much harder to wind back in again; you need a fair bit of strength and momentum (kids may struggle).

This is good value for the price, attached from wall over the front sheltered porch to limit sun coming in windows. Folds back fully & really tidily for the winter, not suitable for windy conditions.

Easy to install, easy to wind in and out for shade or to dry laundry under when it rains. The last one lasted well - some mould growth after a few years, which I scrubbed off.
So happy in finally decide to buy an awning. Fabulous product..and blocks out the sun amazingly now from entering my lounge room. Colour is great.and installation, looked very easy.I had a builder instal it for me. Wouldnt hesitate in buying a second one.
Would definitely recommend this product. Easy to install. Easy to use and looks great.

Had to build new mounting system to hang awning off a beam but works perfectly and creates a fantastic breakfast spot under the Hawkes Bay sun. Retracts to sit under the soffit and is protected from any inclement weather conditions when not in use
