SureWall is a slide together system designed for the creative DIYer looking for a quick and easy retaining wall solution. This end post is suitable to cap the end of a retaining wall with a height of 300-400mm.

INSTALLATION TIPS:
SureWall is designed to easily create perfect 90° corners, however with a 15° tolerance you can also create ‘curved’ walls at special angles. You can also achieve a 'stepped' wall effect with different height SureWall posts, remembering that half the length of the post needs to be underground. Please see our 'Post Spacing Guide' (found in the images of this product) for more guidance on post spacing and hole depth.

These posts are 65mm wide, so a 50mm sleeper is the best fit, so that there is some room to move as the timber shrinks and swells. If you wish to use a thicker sleeper, simply rebate the end to fit the posts.

Surewall post design life is dependent on the condition they are installed in and the loads on the post, as any corrosion over time will reduce the structural capacity. Posts will last longer inland rather than coastal, as saltwater tends to erode steel faster. When it comes to load rating, any retaining wall with a surcharge would be best designed by an engineer as the load rating etc. depends as much on the soil types and other factors as well as the post strength.
