Can you leave these set to constant mode so that it always comes on first when you turn them on (ie so you don't haver to always scroll through flashing mode)?
A:
This only has one setting, which is staying on constantly, there is no flashing mode for this model.

How would you rate their aesthetic suitability as indoor mood lighting, in conjunction with the dimmer?
A:
Well the cord would stand out unless you could hide it - so rustic but charming! Perhaps in conjunction with some Barry White to set the mood?

Q:
How many watts and amps for the whole string (15 meters) when in use? (Plan to run it on solar.)
A:
Each bulb is 4W, so the total wattage is 96W over the 24 bulbs. The lights plug into a regular wall outlet, and takes 10A.

You get what you pay for

I bought these lights after considering several other cheaper sets. I'm not sorry I spent the extra money. They have quality weather proof bulb sockets and plugs. A bonus feature is that they have a power socket at the far end allowing you to chain several sets.

Without hesitation the BEST OUTDOOR LIGHTS!!

It took two previous attempts before I purchased this PERFECT set of lights. The first were 'outdoor' but when the box arrived they were not waterproof. The second were waterproof but I've seen more light in a blackout. But these are F L A W L E S S!! Bright! Easy to hang! Excellent lights!!
