Hi there, if we bought 8 of these 5m lengths, would 1 dimmer work on them all or does each length needs its own separate dimmer?
A:
The manufacturer recommends a maximum of 3 together, but at that amount you would only need 1 dimmer for the string.

Are the bulbs made of glass? Will they break if the wind blows them against the house?

They are made of glass. From the feedback we have received these are tough and well lasting. They also come with a 1 Year Trade Tested Warranty

Great product

Well made and robust. Fixings a bit light so didnt use them and got larger eyelet to replace the hook and slightly larger tensioners.

Think we got a bad batch

Finally got around to putting these up for our engagement party a couple of weeks ago. At first we were very impressed and thought these were very high quality, however after stringing them all up and going along and screwing in the bulbs, four of the light sockets in a row snapped off in my hand. If they break that easily (I wasn't being forceful) then I'm not sure how they would do in anything more than a slight breeze. We may have gotten a bad batch that was already damaged as it only occurred in one area on one of the sets (we ordered two sets). Hoping they can be replaced.

Nice and bright

I bought and installed these lights a few weeks ago. Overall, they're great, especially combined with the dimmer switch. My only complaint was that two of the bulbs were damaged on arrival (poor quality screw, not courier damage). Fortunately, the pack came with some spares, so everything is working well.
