Q:
We have two sets of your 10 bulb outdoor festoon lights which are great. Could this dimmer be attached to both or would we need one for each set? Hopefully not as that is getting expensive!
A:
This must be plugged into the lights you want to dim and time. So as long as you have both sets of Festoon lights plugged into each other and then into this unit, it will dim both sets

Can this be hard wired and used with festoon lights?
A:
As this product is, it is designed for the Outdoor Festoon Lights range to plug straight in and you do not need to hard wire anything. You could possibly hard wire these together, but this is out of our warranty and you would need to talk to an electrician.

Yes, this should work as long as the lights are within these requirements maximum of 240W dimmable LED bulbs or 200W incandescent bulbs.

Yes, the remote can be used independently as long as it's within the 50m range.

Would these work fine with garden lights? Wanting to use it for lights to light up the driveway so I can turn them on and off when pleased.

Yes it will work great provided the garden light bulbs are dimmable LED or incandescent bulbs, the unit can operate a maximum of 240W dimmable LED bulbs or 200W incandescent bulbs.

Its good when it works

This is awesome but sometimes the lights wont turn right off which is weird. You have to physically go and unplug the dimmer.

Dimmer

Dimmer connected to outdoor lights and generally works as it should but occasionally experience a strange pulsing where the lights pulse slightly when connected to dimmer. Can be a bit annoying on the eyes and this is why I have downgraded rating.

Excellent dimmer!!!

Ive tried three other brands, and this dimmer is by far the best. Its better designed for outdoor use, with better protection against water getting into the unit. Plus, it has four brightness levels, which is perfect for subtle lighting.

Doesn't work with app

Great idea, but ap doenst work and has bad instructions. It has a remote, that works, but the app is useless. it doesn't show up on initial discovery. press the wifi button, turn on and off the unit still no go, 3rd method is rest button but it doesn't have one,

Integrates with Google Home

Connected this to a set of lights from Trade Tested and linked it up to our Google Home set up. Now it turns the festoon lights on and off along with the rest of our wired house lights as part flof scheduled system. Dawn/dusk and dimming features are brilliant too.
