All Evergreen greenhouses are made with top quality aluminium frames and super strong 6mm twinwall polycarbonate panels. Each of our greenhouses has been designed with a special grooved channel frame to help reinforce the panels against wind and weather. The quality of this greenhouse is backed up by a 12-year structural warranty for your peace of mind.

Note: Kit contains 1 x 10x8ft greenhouse and 1 x 7.2ft extension kit.

Is the frame strong enough to have tomato or cucumbers growing up a string will the frame support this wieght or would we need to build a structure inside to enable this support requirement
A:
We would recommend creating an internal structure for the vines to climb on. We do not have a load rating for that type of situation.

what are they wind rated to
A:
We don't have a firm wind rating for this product, but we have had some great reviews of its wind performance. If you are in a very windy area we recommend you run a bead of silicone around the panels to help them stay in and not to place this in an exposed location.

Do these have to be on concrete?
A:
No, you can mount this on a timber frame or using ground anchors on soil. Have a look at our customer reviews for some inspiration

How high is the structure from base to where the roof angle starts on the outside wall. (this is not about how high the roof is)
A:
It's around 140cm from the base to where the roof angle starts on the outside wall. If you check out some of our awesome customer review photos this height can be raised by placing the Greenhouse on top of a timber frame.

Do you have wider ones , say 10' or 12'?
A:
8ft x 20ft is our widest one in this range. We do have the Evergreen Pro Greenhouse Black range available in 2 sizes 17ft x 17ft and 24ft x 17ft.

Awesome product

Easy to put together and I cant wait to start planting. My husband built a wooden floor for it and has made it transportable so we can move it if we arent happy with the placement

8ff x 14ft Greenhouse

After a small challenge by my husband to get my Greenhouse constructed (typical man, please read the instructions carefully while under construction), I am very happy with my Greenhouse. I would not want it to be any smaller as this size is perfect fir the back yard garden. It provides space for growing and germinating and even leaves a little room for potting plants up on a cold wet day. Happy to recommend.

Green house

We bought one and apart from a slight build puzzle, the fram is good but should be mounted on a good timber ring frame. The polycarbonate twin flute did not last, it just failed under UV. I am not sure it was that good to start with. For the money I would buy the tunnel houses at about a third the price. we had both.

Great product (once it's built)

Absolutely love our greenhouse once it was built. The building process was quite tedious with lack of clear instructions, to echo a lot of the other reviews, start with the foundation, unlike the instructions suggest. Overall very sturdy once it is built and great quality.

Delighted with this Greenhouse

Super speedy service - big tick! A few things that made this possible for us - experienced builder + great hey you to assist. Instructions were as other say terrible (I'm advised that Chinese often read the book backwards which would explain why the base is on last page), but logical thinking and taking time paid off. It did take 2 full days to get it built, and we have now just finished off the inside ready for spring planting. We are super happy with outcome - but couldn't have done it without professional help.

More difficult than I thought to put up!! But once up its great!!

Instructions are interesting but once you realise that every instruction needs to be done in sequence things are easier!! Suggest 3 people at the start. Took a bit longer than stated and we have put it on a solid base. It had its first test of the Canterbury norwesters yesterday and came through with flying colours!!

This was not strong enough to stand the canterbury winds, I got the 6mm thinking it would but No it needs a very sheltered position. Very disappointing.

Reply from Trade Tested These units are a very sturdy design but for higher wind speed areas we recommend installing these greenhouses in locations where they have some shelter from the wind. It is also recommended to increase the bracing of the unit and add silicone to keep the panels in place.
