q: Do the garden shed wooden floor kits rest directly on the ground? or do I need to prepare a concrete / stone base first?
a: A concrete slab is always ideal but not necessary, as long as the surface is flat and level you can build the floor kit directly on the ground.

Shed Floor

The product serves its purpose however buyers need to understand that the timber is far from straight making a perfect rectangular floor for the shed almost impossible. Delivery was a dog with TOLL who took 2 weeks and many calls and then despite paying for the delivery you need to assist in unloading which I was not informed about at the time of purchase.

bad idea

to save on size the cut the main beams in half and give you some metal joiners. bad idea... not straight and don't have any strength... 2hrs wasted putting those together. these beams are too narrow and really aren't up to the job. The main floor boards are mostly warped and won't sit right so nothing lines up. Overall the size is too small for the shed and I have gapping holes all around. Would've been better off making my own and will need to replace this. total disappointment. will not by anything from this company again. Oh and they won't post negative reviews. cunts!
