Greenworks 40V 4.0Ah Li-Ion Battery

Needed to buy this as mower has space for 2 batteries but only comes with one! One is only enough capacity to do front lawn and grass verge. Need 2nd battery to do back lawn.

Bought this new battery as a back up for our original Greenworks mower now we have a larger area to mow. Great product.

So glad I finally got a second battery for the mower. Been using these same 2 for the mower and trimmer for years but was not enough to do both. Never had any charging problems and they last well.

I think these are overpriced for 4Ah batteries, but given how many fakes the Chinese spew out on Temu and Alibaba, at least you can be sure this battery IS actually a 40V 4Ah battery. Charging on these genuine batteries is slow - well over an hour. So at the very least you'll need 2 of these (I now have 5...). They run for between 20 and 40 minutes depending on how often I stop to clear the catcher and how long/wet the grass is. I'd actually prefer the next model up in terms of amperage, but they are ludicrously expensive and so this model - in the middle of the range - strikes the best balance between cost and performance.

Originally I bought at 5.0 AH battery to use with my mower. When I went to buy a backup battery, there only appeared to be 4.0 AH batteries. After enquiring about this, I was assured the 4.0 AH battery will work just as well...I have found this to be true.

Excellent product works well thought for size it would get more than 3 small mows but I still recommend this product
