Product overview

This automatic transfer switch allows on-off control of devices such as generators.

An ATS (automatic transfer switch) is used to change the power source to a secondary source, usually a generator, in case of power failure. When there is a failure of the primary power source the ATS automatically starts the generator and switches the input power to the generator. When the primary power source is restored the ATS resets the primary input.

Note: Your generator requires an ATS socket to operate this switch.

ATS system

I purchased this last year now have my PV off grid system up and running the ATS coupled to a 5000 w Hyundai diesel genset works very well. Am told that in the winter months the ATS will be working most days I hope not. Time will tell.

ATS System

This is part of an off grid PV system using a Hyundai 5000w gen set as a back up. It functions as an automatic generator start system when the PV battery State of Charge drops below 40%, and stops the gen set when SoC gets above 80%. While the unit is NOT designed with this in mind, with a minor alteration in the wiring it works very well. It is triggered by the main inverters "two wire" back up generator function
