Admit it took a little bit to work out how to attach the rope correctly! Love the fact you can have this at different heights, we’ve already adjusted ours after it was up and made it higher. Very sturdy, doesn’t move much in the wind. Thought we might have had to take it down in high winds but so far so good. Neighbor has commented how good it looks. Shame the poles don’t come in black, would have matched the house better but loving it anyway!

Easy to assemble and looks great when up. However the flag is made of lightweight material and after 6 weeks (Jan to mid-Feb in the Waikato) it's fraying badly on the end. TT are supplying a replacement at no charge, but clearly the flag isn't designed for long term use, and you'll need to replace it over time. It would be good if TT could provide more detailed guidance on flag life expectancy and at what wind speed the flag should be brought down. Would still recommend purchase though - and five stars if the flag had been more robust.

Great product. Looks good and easy to install. This is the second one that I have purchased as a gift for family. The only problem is that the rope is inferior and only lasted 6 months (totally rotted) Probably not suited to NZ conditions ( UV ). Trade tested replaced rope BUT???? how long will that last. The easy answer is to replace with suitable cord from elsewhere.

Great value and quality for the price. Basic alloy tube sections of two diameters, but you can easily take out sections to make it shorter. Rope is of a decent quality, but stretchy, but that doesn't affect anything. Didn't realise it also came with an NZ flag which was a nice bonus. I would hesitate to use this as a permanent fixture as the UV will get the the plastic parts over time.

We live by the beach so plenty of wind. One flag pole has all extensions & another with one extension less. Both handle all wind conditions perfectly. Both poles are anchored against balcony rail up to first extension, guaranteed not to move. Brilliant.

Quality is not in question but it's fairly lightweight tubing and I left two sections out as I don't believe it would stand over 22' tall without guy wire support in any sort of reasonable wind. The supplied rope is also not long enough to allow for the full travel of the pole... it needs to be 3X the height.

We were impressed by the turnkey package with everything needed to get going in the box. The flagpole was easily assembled. Our location is free standing so we needed a couple of bags of cement mix to set it solidly in the ground. It now stands proudly outside our house so we are very happy with the result.

I have bought 3 of these and made them into 2 portable antenna masts 1 7.6 metre high mast for a 40 mtr dipole antenna and the other 2 make up a 10mtr high mast for a 80 mtr dipole antenna. They worked very well in the recent JW Fielddays an excellent alternative use for the poles as portable antenna masts. PS I did make up guy ropes for them.

I purchased a 7m flag pole from Trade Tested last month. Once set in concrete on the lawn it certainly looks the part and it’s plenty tall enough. Some days it blows fairly hard here so I take it down rather than risk a breakage. Fortunately it’s light weight allows me to easily pull the main pole out from the bottom section and replace once the wind has died down. Very good value for money in my opinion.

I put it together easily and fitted it as per the instructions. I raised the flag that was included and was very happy with how it looked. I took the flag down at night and because some high winds were forecast and was disappointed to find the flag pole bent over the next day. The wind wasn't that strong but apparently too strong for this flagpole. Maybe its only designed for indoor use?

I am more than happy with the flagpole. The only comment I would like to make is I found it to high for the strength of the pole. In the wind it is far to flexiable and bends so much it just about breaks. So I took out one section of tubing and lowered it and it now works perfectly even in a strong wind, and it still looks good at the height it is now. I have already told friends about it and given them your address.

Looks great. Is lightweight, so will be interesting to see how it stands up in a storm, but product looks good in front of our cafe.

I am very pleased with the flagpole. It does the job with ease. It was easy to install and had all the necessary parts to get things going straight away. Easy to take down in high winds as well due to its sectional nature.

I love this flag pole, it's brilliant. It can stand the Naki southerly quite well. It's so easy to put together and install and very handy with the adjustable height. I highly recommend this flag pole, it is great value for money. After my son saw it he wants one!

A great quality but affordable product. Instructions are maybe a little hard to understand depending on the person however once it makes sense it’s easy to put up. We attached some side stays to the middle of the pole to ensure it’s really stable and secure in big winds which we do get out here.

Don't buy Product of very poor quality aluminium section to light and bends and flaps in any sort of wind. Flag was not finished and therefore not usable. Instructions basic assembly of pole only but NO mounting instructions or fittings you have to figure out yourself.

This is an excellent product, it definitely exceeded my expectations and the flag that came with it is great. Just had to google how to tie the flag on as I had no idea and the instructions were not clear for a novice flag flyer like myself. Once I sorted that out it went up really fast and have had nothing but positive comments back from everyone since. Thanks Trade Tested!!!

Very happy with the pole. Easy to fit together and nice touch to include the NZ flag in the kit. I didn't end up using all of the sections as it would have been too high for our site. However, a product that I would highly recommend to other customers.

Went up easy enough. Probably could have done with some mounting brackets. Looks good. Recommend this product to any one who wants to put there man thing on the pole :-)

looks great but in the first decent wind it folded over, right on the joint. Destroyed both lengths.
