Each sail is made from a heavy 280gsm marine grade fabric, proven to block out over 90% of those harmful UV rays.

Hi. You mention this is made of water proof fabric, does that mean the water would run off to the edge or would it deep through?
A:
As long as it's angled correctly then yes, it will run off.

Can the length of the tethers be adjusted?
A:
Not on the sail, but the turnbuckles you buy as part of the fixing kit are adjustable in length.

Is this shade sail nice and tight or does it lull in the middle?
A:
Shade sail will be tight if tethered correctly, some periodic maintenance may be needed for upkeep.

Your dimensions say eye to eye on the angle. Is it 5 meters wide by 5 meters long ? 5 meters long

Yes, each side is 5m long when measuring from the metal eye ring. The fabric itself is just under 5m long.

Yes it most likely will.

Do you sell sell sail fixing posts that can be removed when the sail is taken down?
A:
No we don't stock posts. We would suggest something like 100mm galvanised pipe in a ground socket, however there are many options depending on your area and the look you want.

Excellent product, very strong and well shaped and well priced. It has a fiber reinforcing in the outer seams to add strength. A good product! Maybe best to tension corners with a cord to get really tight.

Shade Sail

This purchase was to replace an existing shade sail which was many years old, I went full water proof for more sun protection and privacy. I was able to angle the shade to have rain run off to one corner where the water flows down a rope.

I am pleased with my shade sail. I was surprised that it is entirely waterproof so am struggling to get it correctly aligned to drain after rain however it is a wonderful sunscreen. Thank you
