Product overview

Effortlessly set up an instant raised garden with this solid wood stackable garden bed.

Quick and easy to install, this garden bed can be set up in a jiffy - no screws, no nails, no tools, no stakes, no assembly required.

With specially designed galvanised steel hinges that lock collars in place firmly, and an interlocking stacking design, it allows you to stack more units to meet the needs of different heights.
It can also be folded when not in use for saving space and easy transportation.

This bed is constructed from solid, kiln dried, Nordic spruce that has been heat treated for better durability, without chemicals. The timber used also comes from sustainably managed forests, for a little peace of mind.

With a smooth surface, these planter boxes are perfect for painting - add even more colour to your garden!

Light and sturdy - only 9kg each - you can easily set up or pack away without a struggle.

Whether you're growing a veggie garden, flower garden or even setting up a compost bin this wood garden bed is a versatile option to take your backyard to the next level.

Note: To keep the timber in good shape for a long time you might consider coating the collars with Linseed oil (what is a natural waterproofing and protecting solution) or another eco-friendly finish. Lining the inside (with building paper, for example) is also an option

Q:
Would you be advised to oil inside of bed before planting
A:
Yes we would, something like Linseed oil can work or else you can staple a water proof lining to it.

Q:
Is this bed made by strol also, it doesn't say in the listing details if it is from the same manufacturer and compatible with the other wooden beds you have listed
A:
This is not made by Strol, but it is from another NZ supplier. They are compatible with the Stol kits, but this make is sized to also fit over Pallets as seen in the Third photo.

Exactly what I needed

Wanted some thing free from chemical treatment yet would last, treat with linseed oil before use for long life

So easy

So easy to put together...took about 10 minutes. Looks easy to stack another on top...but that's for another time

Excellent Quality and Easy to Assemble

Ordered enough to stack them two high. Easy to assemble.. We stained them first with penetrating stain for aesthetics and preservation as wood is untreated. Lined garden with polythene.

I love this

Great product. Looks good and very easy to put together. Could be better if it comes in treated timber. I used linseed oil. But one has the choice of painting this in a colour suitable to them.

Fantastic

They are so easy to put together, we stack two of them to make a bit of hight and looks great in our garden. We are glad to buy the wooden one instead the metal one.

Ease of set up and a better product than those from the major hardware chains

Wooden Raised Stackable Garden Bed 120 cm x 100 cm

Ingenious design, easy to set up and modify as desired. Very happy with the purchase. I wish they also had a way of locking the corners while stacking on each other.

Great planter boxes

Arrived quickly, easy to assemble, great start for the vegetable garden at our new abode.

Basic

A fair price for what it is - but the structure is too flimsy to use on it's own and needs staking to stop the boards from shifting - and I couldn't stack them 2 boards high without needing to reinforce them to keep them together. Expecting only a couple of seasons of use, as the metal fittings started rusting after a week. Easy to assemble and a good option for now as I needed the beds set up quickly.

Raised beds

Amazing. I even managed to combine 2 together to make one long raised bed to replace our exiting ones. Lined the inside with permathane to extend its life.
