Q:
Can the lids be removed easily please
A:
It is a plastic sleeve hinge so it can also be removed once assembled but it may not come out too easily at that stage

Does it have a base floor?
A:
No it doesn't, it would be easy enough to put it on a piece of ply or similar.

Best Buy Ever

Just so thrilled with our mighty-wee Greenhouse. Was super easy to assemble (with the cats help of course...). Its a perfect size for our narrow garden space down the side of the house. Yet it is surprising just how much we can fit into it. Seedlings and new plant starts all successfully housed for the winter cold season. You can see the cat does his daily seedling growth checks no matter the weather! So its doing its job so well - best buy ever :)

A very useful greenhouse for plants just out of the tunnel house that need hardening off

Mini Glasshouse/Greenhouse

An excellent buy. Have always wanted a glasshouse, but cost put it out of my reach. Have very limited space so it is half the size of the full glasshouse. Fairly complex to assemble. Took my son about one hour to do so. It would have helped if in the step by step instructions, the Silicone Sealant was included. Once set up it is a strong, rigid glasshouse. A vast improvement on soft plastic ones.

Evergreen Mini Greenhouse

Was good to start, but after about three seasons the clear panels reacted to UV exposure and disintegrated, so I now have a wobbly aluminium frame with no protective panels. OK I guess for what it cost, but now unfortunately more rubbish for the dump.

Cold frame/ green house

Purchased this a week or more ago as a flat pack. Assembled it over a day and a half. The polycarbonate panels are really robust. Fitting the rubberized corners over the aluminum joints was a bit of an exercise. What I did was assembled all the panels within their frames. Next I used electrical tape to hold the panels in position. I realized that the rubberized connectors didn't easily fit over their respective aluminum joints. The aluminum part edges were somewhat sharp and at times cut into the rubber. I used a file the file off the sharp corners and used WD40 to lubricate the metal parts to allow the rubber parts to fit. At times I used a rubber mallet to whack the rubber joint into position. I did modify the box somewhat. The frame had no base plate. I cut up aluminum sheets to create 2 base plates. I did attach a piece of thin ply to the middle beam to cover the gap between the top panels. I shut the top panels when I placed the frame outside overnight with a couple of plants inside. This mornings temperature was 7C. My thermometer inside recorded 12C. About 2 hours later, it was 9C outside and the frame now with the sun shining on a part of it (lid partially open) registered 15C. Twenty five minutes later temperature had risen to 25C. Four hours later it was a whopping 45C. I had to leave the lid completely open and the temperature was 38C. Looks like I have to find another location to place my frame. Exposed North facing location definitely off as a choice.

Good!

I bough this for a friend 'down south' to start her seedlings off in their cold springs. I also have one I bought about 3 years ago and it works well,

Does the job

Needed a greenhouse to start my seedlings before spring. Wish this had shelves as you can only fit one layer on the bottom. The structure is moderate strength but not as bad as my last one which only lasted a year but costs twice as much. We put ours in a raised bed and secured it to wooden pegs which were hammered into the ground so its stable but if I had the funds I would've secured it like others have done to full length sleepers as it was a bit difficult to get it level. As for constructing it, it took longer than the specified time as the instructions are rather vague so had to look up other reviews on how they did theirs so here are some tips; - Make sure the holes on the metal lengths are clicked onto the knobs on plastic corner pieces. - When making the windows/doors I found it easier to slide the metal piece labeled W1 onto the plastic siding then complete the rest of the doors. - The bottom of the main structure is straight forward but its the top part where most came unstuck but like others mentioned, flip the structure upside down onto the metal lengths, a lot easier this way, it doesnt have to be perfect, as you'll make sure the pieces fit when you flip it back right side up again. We used a butter knife to push the plastic sidings into the metal lengths.
