Product overview

With up to 3500W of power, this tough, simple steel frame generator is a great option for powering up bigger tools or running essentials like fridges during a power outage.

The traditional steel frame design means it can handle life in the back of the ute or way down the back paddock, while the while the convenient push-to-reset circuit breaker and a low oil shut-off sensor ensure safe operation. It also features voltage overload protection to prevent overloads and keep your valuable equipment safe from voltage spikes, plus a voltmeter allows you to monitor power output at a glance

Humming away at 75% load you’ll get a solid 10 hours of runtime from the 15L fuel tank and reliable 224cc engine, which should be plenty to see you through a power cut or a solid day’s work.

If you’re after a grunty, no-fuss generator then look no further. Order yours today.

Q:
Will this run a fridge, a freezer, a TV, a desk lamp and a desktop computer concurrently?
A:
You may perhaps be reaching the limit in terms of start up load with all that. Although it's hard to say without knowing the exact specs of you appliances. Another thing to consider is getting a digital inverter model if you are going to be running sensitive electronics such as computers. Feel free to give our sales team a call and they'll be happy to talk specifics.

Q:
Will this run at their startup a tall fridge and a medium-sized chest freezer...? But nothing more.
A:
Both together is unlikely, but really the easiest way to figure it out is to find out the wattage requirements for your particular fridge & freezer.

Q:
Will this run a 1800 w air compressor
A:
It's depends on the exact start-up draw of your compressor, but generally you will probably need 6000W momentarily to start this. Have a look online for more info around start up draw on your specific compressor.

Q:
Hi I have a grunty vacuum that has a motor wattage of 3300w. Will this unit suffice? Thanks
A:
No. With generators you really need to look at the rated watts for the best idea of what it can consistently handle. Convention is to show the max output achievable (in this case 3500W), however this is only available for short bursts to accommodate appliances with high momentary starting loads, so really you need to look at the rated output (3000W here) for the most real world useable maximum. Even if the rated output here was 3500, we'd suggest giving yourself a bit more headroom.

Q:
Will this run a 55inch 4ktv and internet modem at the same time please?
A:
This would be plenty of power for that, but we'd suggest an inverter generator to protect your TV - have a look at the NEWMAN DIGITAL INVERTER GENERATOR 1000W. This is enough power, but with the inverter tech for a smoother power supply.

Good emergency generator

Hopefully I will not have use it but nice to know it’s there. Simple instructions and started first pull. Everything works as it should.

Overall, very good generator

Overall, very good generator. Powerful enough to run most stuff at home, although perhaps not everything at once, which is fine. During a recent power cut, it ran my computer, screens, internet modem etc. for about 5 hour without any problems. Have also run the water pump, deep freezer and refrigerator together no problem. It is reasonably noisy. I put it outside, on the other side of garage and it was okay. I recommend getting a couple of good length extension cords and doing something similar. It is quite heavy. If you are going to need to move it around a lot, it may be better to get something with wheels. The only minor quibble I have is that the label for the choke doesn't make it clear which way is which. The generator won't start without the choke, so if you get it wrong, you can waste a lot of effort pulling the starter. I slapped on my own "Start / Run" label to fix the issue - no biggie.

Easy-to-use, powerful and quiet

We live in the far north and needed a dependable, inexpensive generator for the times when our power goes out. This generator has everything we need. It's pretty quiet, works well and starts easily.
