We live in a windy coastal area how well does this stand up to the elements? I see there's only a 1 year warranty and it doesn't come with a cover, would it be beneficial to buy a weatherproof cover for longevity.
A:
This does have a powder-coated finish, but for a windy coastal area we recommend you keep this in as sheltered a location as possible away from airborne salt. We do not have a matching cover, however we do sell the "Coverit Outdoor Furniture Cover - 1770 x 880 x 650mm" that would cover this, with a little extra fabric.

Can you purchase extra lava rocks for these as I notice in the reviews they mention these could do with a few more

Currently, we do not stock them, but you are able to buy "lava rocks" or "fire glass" to top this up. We are looking to stock this at some point and will update this when it changes

Is there a special way to arrange the stone
A:
No special way, place them in a flat layer around the burner ring. Just make sure you do not cover the holes on the fire ring and this can cause ignition failures

Ohh for sure, definitely roasts marshmallows. Just be careful of the drips, you don't want anything blocking up the gas-ring under the lava rocks.

Yes, it can be used in a covered area, just ensure you have lots of air flow

Yes, this fire table is fully enclosed and you don't see the gas bottle. The second photo showing the gas bottle has the door open, normally this is shut giving you a clean look

How much warmth do you get sitting on a couch outdoors on a covered in deck around this?
A:
This gives out a lot of heat and you can turn it up or down as needed. With 50,000 BTUs of heat, you will feel the warmth from up to 3 meters away depending on the weather.

Pretty good

Once assembled, this has been a great addition to our outdoor setting. However, I found the instructions slightly unclear, many of the panels were warped, making the assembly a bit of a fight and the door magnets are nowhere near powerful enough to keep the door shut as it has a diagonal warp in 2 planes. With the door fully shut the door goes from concave to convex and pushes the door away from the frame. More fire rocks would have been great. It deserves 3.5 stars, but that's not an option. Overall it's a fun idea, just the execution lacks a little.

Perfect Outdoor Fire!

Awesome fire at an unbelievable price! We assembled it in a pretty short time with no dramas. It was bigger than I was expecting and looks really smart with the woven metal side panels. It comes with a thin scatter of ceramic rocks but I purchased some additional ceramic logs for a better effect for a special occasion which need to be removed afterwards to get the lid on. It's easy to light with a long stem lighter and it packs a lovely punch in the heat department although you can safely sit quite close to it to warm your hands and maybe get that night time chill off your glass of pinot noir. I'd 100% recommend this for a lovely ambience throughout the seasons. Takes a full sized 9kg gas bottle by the way. I did struggle to find a perfect small square cover for it but eventually found something kind of suitable on Trade Me. Go for it!!! One of my best purchases this year.
