Good to set up ,works well,

I bought the scaffold around christmas and found I needed the cage as well as outriggers to boost my confidence so purchased these afterwards and had to wait to all arrived to start. I needed the cage to help with getting on and off an my usual ladder to get on. I am a bit disappointed I missed out on getting the workplatform that is free as that would have been handy. Since the work is taking me quite a while I am leaving it at the height to do all height work. This means I have to cover it at night to keep as dry as possible, some rain has got in but no damage so far. I could not take the platform off daily while the cage is on. I painted the board with expensive quality wood primer and then painted, this was easier than using wood sealer and I think this helps as ply would have go wet already, though I couldn't get paint down small surround gaps. buying the scaffold would probably work out cheaper than hiring scaffolding as I work slower. and I get to keep it. As long as I have the scaffold balanced I enjoy working on it, far easier and safer than a ladder at heights and easier with equipment needed all in hands reach.

While the product description says that the platform cannot be stored outside., It does not indicate or imply that the plyboard is of such poor quality that it cant stand one shower of rain. This is despite my treating it with a Resene decking stain before using it. After one shower of rain, the edges of the plyboard are buckling up. This is New Zealand we get rain. Its not a surprise that you will get a shower on this sort of equipment before you finish the job. I dont know how much it would cost to make this exterior ply, but its a few dollars difference. Id be happy to pay. It lets down an otherwise good value product. Also depending how quickly getting wet weakens it this is potentially a severe safety issue.

Powder coated steel so reasonably heavy to cart around. Simple to assemble and quite stable but not rock steady when wheels are on even with brakes on. easy to adjust height of platform ,good value compared to what else is around.

Everything its advertised to be. Easy to erect did this by myself. Sturdy and heaps of height for working on eaves and spouting around the house. Easily moved with the wheels and locks in place nicely.

This scaffold set is easy to be put together and feels sturdy. Very happy with the purchase.

Easy to assemble and use. Doesnt take up much space when dismantled.

Excellent product. Feels sturdy and secure. Easy to assemble. A convenient size for round the house.

So easy to use, assemble is easy once you have done it once. Perfect for indoor work, gets through door ways etc. Should have got one years ago.

Need the extra height so purchased 2nd.
