The traditional steel frame design means it can handle life in the back of the ute or way down the back paddock, while the while the convenient push-to-reset circuit breaker and a low oil shut-off sensor ensure safe operation. It also features voltage overload protection to prevent overloads and keep your valuable equipment safe from voltage spikes, plus a voltmeter allows you to monitor power output at a glance

Will this self contained cabin lights / /fridge and stove And how noisey and is that blue cap for a caravan type adapter
A:
Yes most likely, but you're going to need to estimate your wattage draw by looking at specs of your appliances. Also remember the start up draw on a fridge is generally approx 3x it's quoted running watts - there a lots of good power needs calculators online. A traditional open frame generator like this won't be the quietest, as per the specs in the description this is quoted at 72db @ 7m @75% load. Yes the blue cap is a 32A plug.

No these are shipped without oil. These have no wheels, the frame makes them pretty simple for 2 people to lift onto a trailer or ute etc if it needs to be moved.

No much besides the wheel kit, as you say the main difference is the electric stating with remote.

No this doesn't have an inverter.

Is this powerful enough to run a trailer fridge marquee lights and a Bain Marie for a wedding?
A:
Potentially, you need to add up the overall (and start up) draw in Watts for your particular appliances. Bear in mind the start up power draw of some appliances can be double their running power requirement. There are lots of tools online for calculating your requirements.

There's always a lemon and I got it

Several issues I didn't notice until the battery died are 1: mine is putting out 15-16volts DC to charge its starter battery when it should be 13.5-14 so that likely damaged the battery. 2: the DC outlet only puts out 10volts so I cant use that for anything 3: in order to use the remote you need a switch on that has an LED light which will eventually drain and eventually kill your battery and that is a hassle as you must remember to turn off daily however all that said the remote is GREAT, power output awesome, starts and runs with no other issues it is a good gene I've used mine 4 years no other issues. Tip for on solar: when connected through our inverter to charge our solar batteries it will stop and start because fluctuation in hertz, by adding load to generator we can get our inverter to charge uninterupted instead of getting an inverter generator but if you have the money go with inverter generator. I would still recommend I was probly just unlucky and got the dud Cheers

Back up generator

Great generator for the price. Bought as a backup generator for a diesel generator integrated into an off grid solar powered, with batteries, system. The 32A plug was perfect for plugging into my existing system, should the primary generator fail. Easy start and works as described.

Very pleased
