Newman Inverter Generator 5500W Electric Start

Ordered this inverter generator to replace a smaller one I used during the recent storm very impressed with the service from Trade tested the generator was well packaged and after a simple assembly of wheels and handle added some oil and petrol and it started immediately very impressive I would definitely recommend bothered Trade tested and the Newman generator very happy with both

Good machine for a standby supply

I have serviced generators over the years in the hire industry.This is a well built and sturdy generator.Assembly was easy and all castings on the motor are very,very good.This indicates a quality build. Remote start is a feature that is included but to be honest it's a bit of a gimmick but it works fine and some people like it. Loads of features on the controller panel and the fit of everything is good.The carb and intake are easily accessible for routine maintenance for long term storage.Pull start feels smooth.Nice touch to supply a 32amp male plug as well.Its noise level is normal exhaust wise and the engine itself sounds sweet no rattles or knocks.Electric start is easy. Overall this gene has a feel and build quality WELL over its price and I could name a very well known make that is twice the price of this and doesn't feel as good as a overall package.Time will tell about longevity but I've seen enough here to beleive it will be absolutely bullet proof reliable.

Bought this as an emergency generator and if works well the first time, and haven't needed to use it in an emergency yet. Easy enough to assemble, but would have been nice had there been better instructions on where things were (had to hunt around a little).

As described. Fantastic wee home generator. Got this for when we have power cuts to run fridges and freezers etc.

We recently purchased this generator. We had done a lot of research before deciding which generator would suit our needs best. We wanted a generator that was suitable for running essential items during power cuts. We wanted enough power for it to be worthwhile, but we did not want to spend too much money. We are very happy with our choice. We ordered online and the communication and tracking facility were excellent. The item arrived in a timely fashion, delivered to our doorstep. We have not had a generator before so we found the manual very useful. We are still running our generator in, but so far it has been easy to start and reliable. It is easy to move with a useful handle and great wheels. It is a bit noisy as you would expect, but we were not prepared to pay more money for a quieter one, when we are not likely to use it very often, and as it runs outside, the noise is not a big problem. I was impressed by the after sales service by way of email, asking if we had any questions and offering support. All round we are very impressed with the generator and the service we received from Trade Tested.

Not ran it for long but will do a great job running all the appliances in the house power cut
