Q:
Does the gas for raising the lid need to be replaced? Does it leak out?
A:
All gas struts will lose pressure over time, but these will last an exceptionally long time due the low weight being exerted by the lid. We've been selling this model for 7 years and have never seen this issue.

These two have not been designed to match so there will be a slight difference in colour. Both are a dark grey colour/black

It isn't designed with any ventilation, but it also doesn't have a air tight seal. You could drill and add more ventilation but that would be up to you

It will not fade and the material wont go brittle, this is made of UV-resistant, all-weather, high-quality polypropylene (plastic), it can be exposed to the elements.

Only problem is that water stays on the top (more than my other boxes) and unless you dry it off some water goes inside when you open it - this does not happen with my bigger and smaller boxes - otherwise all good

This is the 2nd box I have ordered from TT. This time to use as wood storage closer to lounge than wood shed. They slot together easily and do NOT leak. Yes, they are plastic but not so ugly as not to be seen. I would recommend this product. Good extra outside storage.
