The seat is 400mm from the ground to the edge at the front of the seat.

Is it possible to successfully paint own colour over the white.
A:
Yes you could, you'll need look into appropriate primers and technique for painting plastic.

What is the type of weather resistant resin used in these chairs?
A:
It's a proprietary material to Keter so we don't know the exact makeup, but they are experts in it's use outdoors - so the best possible UV inhibitors etc.

Comfortable outdoor chair

We are enjoying sunny autumn days in our new chair. It is quite light (not being wood as the original versions must be) but it is comfortable, easy to move and has a great cupholder. Love sitting in it reading my book with a glass of something....
