Yes they would fit, we would recommend removing the cushions though.

Do the tables and chairs need oiling or do they come with a finish? What do you recommend?

The tables and chairs come with a light oil finish already. If you want to maintain it looking as new, we'd recommend re-oiling with and good outdoor furniture oil relatively soon. Overall great

Good solid but lightweight table, easy assembly, love the extension function, chairs best part of this kit - solid, super comfy and the cushions stay on which is brilliant. Only thing to consider, I bought the concrete umbrella stand which I thought would fit under the table to add extra strength to holding the umbrella in the table...however the hole in the base board for the umbrella is not big enough for the stand (which makes sense) but was just frustrating to realise after purchase of the stand. Still, all in all very happy with this set. Great compliments from the family a xmas too.
