The tough 180gsm PE weave helps diffuse the sun and the heat, while still letting some light through, so you can create sheltered but airy spaces.

The removable pole makes operation simple, while the blind can be set up to operate from the left or the right. The bungee tie-down system allows you to secure them from the bottom. The tough weave is UV stabilised to handle life outdoors in NZ.

Does it take at least 2 people for installation? Thank you.
A:
You could do it by your self as long as you have the strength, arm span and dexterity, but two people is going to make it far easier. The trickiest bit would be holding the whole blind up while clicking it into both brackets.

Are they able to be used horizontally (e.g. instead of a shade sail )?
A:
Possibly, you would need to make sure it stayed taut, also it will block a bit less light than a shade sail due to the open weave. However if set up correctly we don't see why you couldn't. Good luck!

How is the blind secured to the deck in windy conditions?
A:
There are attachments that screw to the deck, then bungee cord attachments for the bottom of the blind.

Can you just pull out the blind by grabbing the bar (without using the crank)?
A:
You must use the crank handle to raise and lower the blind

Does the blind have to be fully unrolled in a horizontal position as I only need 1.6 metre cover
A:
No, you can have this at whatever length you require. As long as it is completely rolled up in bad weather.

Roller blind fail

This is a great product however, we thought ist was a great solution for the price - It was installed in our holiday home we have used it about 10-15 times, mostly to stop the sun - however it constantly slipped when winding and now it does not wind up at all - so we have taken it down as the mechanism has failed - probably need to get on made - a bit disappointing

This Item has proven a solution to a problem existing at our very sunny house facing north west .Later sun created quite a glare and the blind has solved this. A wider blind was not available to give complete shade on a 4 metre opening but using adjustable fittings we can move the blind according to the season.

Outdoor Sunscreen Blind

Easy to install. Reduces heat coming through the slider. Can see through fabric from inside but not outside. Reasonable quality, does the job we intended it for.
