Shelter your patio or deck from the elements with this PVC Patio Blind - made of transparent UV treated 0.7mm thick PVC, this blind will protect you and your guests from wind and rain while retaining light and visibility.

Easy to install, this blind features a canvas wrapped galvanised steel top rail and a powder-coated, galvanised steel bottom rail for strength and long life.

Suitable for verandahs, pergolas or balconies etc. Want to join your blinds together? No problem, we have joining zippers available separately for you.

Do they have a guarantee? How long do they last on average?
A:
They have a 2 Year Warranty, it depends on location and exposure, but in general we've been selling these for 7 years and are yet to have any issues.

Hi how are the blinds secured when they are down to stop them flapping around?

You can ad one of our fixing strips on each end, or use our patio blind joiners to zip 2 blinds together (check out the Frequently Bought Together section above).

150mm is the overall width of the unit and from zip to zip it's 140mm

You could roll them to the height you need then tie them off no problem.

how they get fixed at the top? Are they fixed at the sides?
A:
There are bolts that go through the top rail that will fix onto the beam that you are attaching these too. If you call our sales team on 0800 800 880 they will be able to send you an assembly manual and talk you through any installation queries you have.

These are not specifically designed for our louvres, with modifications we have had customers do this.

Yes you could use them, you will need to drill into the frame to fit.

Q:
We live on Great Barrier Island and our predominant wind is a westerly, awful when it rains and the wind is howling would this stand up to those conditions if yes what would be my time limit. My husband said nothing will stand up to those winds please prove him wrong.
A:
They don't have a specific wind rating, so we can't give you definitive answer, however much of it would be down to how well they are secured. Lots of our customers use them to block wind, so we're confident in their material strength, however like anything they have their limit. Maybe get one of our weather stations so you know when to roll them up!

They are great got 2 x 2400 2x1200 and 1x1500 and what a difference they make no rain very minimal wind they stand up really well to very strong winds wont have to buy again Ive had one on front porch for 3 years still going strong

Shorter drop than standard outdoor blinds

Unfortunately i now have to purchase elsewhere with a different supplier as the 1200 x2400 outdoor blind i received from trade tested does not match standard drop of other manufacturers so looks terrible. Way too short, so when hung at height matching standard, the bottom of this blind is hanging above others i have next to it. Very weird. Looks like the manufacturer sewed the clear pvc to the top piece too high, not as per usual, see pics attached. Beware if you need to match any existing blinds you have. Another issue is the strings do not have any pull end knobs as standard, so you need to tie a knot at the ends, looks ugly. And another odd thing is the zip pieces that fit into the metal channels are again non standard size. Only 40mm wide not standard 50mm so beware if like us you need to fit a specific size. Overall rather disappointed.

Great Wind Protection

I love these clear blinds. I have bought several for my properties, they are easy to put up and provide full wind protection. One set of blinds have been up for 5 years and are still almost as good as new.
