Bike Ceiling Hoist

I bought this to hoist a roof box up off my car when not in use. it works perfectly. I've just purchased another to handle a new kayak. One thing to note is that if you are using straps, your item will hang quite low from the hoist. I had to mount my hoist higher up into the open rafters in order to get my roof box closer to ceiling height. Something to keep in mind if your garage is lined

I use it to lift bicycles to a height where I can easily work on them. You get used to, and work around, the slight swing that happens, but it is easier to lift, particularly ebikes, than lift to a work stand.

Very good, did everything I required.

Used to store a two-person kayak in a garage. Be aware, there is a fair amount of headroom required to install and lift the object(ie probably couldn't mount to a flat ceiling and walk under kayak). No issue for us as we were able to install between the roof trusses.

The bike hoist (actually a kayak hoist but perfectly suitable as a bike hoist) arrived promptly. It is installed and does the job perfectly for storing my bike in the garage.
