Add amazing style and versatility to your Trade Tested Trade Tested 3x4m, 4x4m or 6x4m Louvre Roof System with these aluminium wall shutters.

Ideal for blocking a chilly breeze, nosey neighbours and adding a textural element to your new outdoor living room.

You can fit up to 3 of these 1.23m units per 4m long side (3.7m post to post), allowing you to close off entire sides of your louvre.

Designed for seamless installation, assembly is straightforward and they feature the same all-aluminium construction as our louvre roof systems along with manual opening and closing, all backed by a 5 Year Warranty.

Note: Any side featuring a crank handle can fit a maximum of 2 shutter units as a gap must be left for the handle. Roof corner brackets must be removed for corner installation. Not compatible with the sides of wall mounted models due to the 3° fall, but can be mounted to the front edge.

Is there a wind rating on these louvre panels, I live in a very high wind area?
A:
We do not have a wind rating for this product. In strong winds we recommend leaving the shutters open

Can these be fitted alongside the smaller shutter? ie 1.23 and 900 joined together? Also are they easy to take off once up? ie if you wanted to remove them for summer months?
A:
Yes they can. They are easy enough to put on and take off

Q:
Can these panels be fitted so the louvres are vertical, not horizontal? Water proofing is not a priority, we're after privacy.
A:
No sorry, you would need to mount the whole unit horizontally to do this. It's not sized or designed for this so if you want to give it a go I would suggest checking the assembly manual or having a chat to a builder.

hi there when the shutters on the roof are closed are they weather tight during heavy rain

We have had some amazing feedback on how well these perform when closed up in high winds. But It's hard to say weathertight as you might get a drop or two of water coming through in a big storm

Can these wall shutters be fitted without having the louvre roofing system as want to replace existing roll down .
A:
For sure, as long as you have a frame in the right size and you will need to supply the right screws/bolts (this is shipped with self-tapping metal screws). These shutters have mounting points on all sides, have a look at our customer photos for some awesome custom installs.

Q:
Do the louvres when open extend out from the frame or do they open within the frame depth of 6 cm .
A:
When fully open the tips of the louvers do extend slightly past the side of the shutter frame, but not out far enough to go past the frame of the Louvre. The handle on the rear sticks out by around 5-10cm too. You can see this a little better in some of our customer photos for the White shutters.

Can these be fixed to vertical wooden posts attached on sides only
A:
They probably can. However, as they are designed to go with our louvre roof system range it would probably be worth discussing the finer points of 'how' with a builder.

Ordered 3 as we moved to a house with the pergola already installed, on reading the reviews I was confident with the purchase. As many have already stated, they are relatively easy to put together (much quicker by the 3rd one lol) although the instructions are simple to follow they could be a little clearer and maybe a helpful video would be a plus. Overall very happy with them and surprisingly good quality. Really made our outdoor area usable all year round Definitely recommend

Louvre Roof System and Shutters

I would generally never review products or services, as there are just so many false reviews and keyboard warriors in the world today. I'm a tradesperson myself and have a few OCD tendencies, so you could say I'm pretty passionate about the quality of building products. When we first considered using a kit-set type system, our thinking was that we don't plan on living at this property for too much longer, but the space really did warrant some sort of roof. I could have easily built a pergola out of timber and glass, but let's just say I'm very thankful I didn't! We spent the day visiting three or four companies that sell these systems. Even though I still wasn't fully convinced, and they all seemed very similar in appearance, despite being a few hundred dollars more expensive, I felt the Tradetested ones were the best quality of the bunch. So we took a punt. It was very easy to install, done within a day, and honestly the quality is fantastic. I'd go as far as to say its hands down the best imported kit-set product I've ever purchased. And let's just say, I wouldn't want to be in business selling the custom made versions! Because, like a lot of building products these days, this really feels like the future.
