Louvre Roof System Wall Mount 6m x 4m White

We had been debating getting a louvre roof system for years. The sun absolutely pounds down on our back deck and umbrellas just weren't cutting it. We finally bit the bullet and called Trade Tested to find out if the wall mounted 6x4 unit could be modified at all. The awesome sales rep Steven told us that the units can be modified and went one step further and gave us the details for Alex Van Dijk at JVD Projects, who specialises in installing louvre roof systems. After many photos and a FaceTime Alex assured us he could make the system work in our space. It was lucky timing on our part that he had a cancellation the following Friday. So we bought the system and as delivery couldn't be guaranteed by that Thursday we opted to pick it up ourselves. Unfortunately we couldn't fit the longest box in our van so Alex picked it up for us on the Friday morning. The system needed a little extra manipulation, but true to his word, Alex made it work. He didn't finish until 8:30pm but he got everything tidied up and we are absolutely thrilled with the final product. If you are hesitating, don't, adding in a louvre roof will completely transform your area. We've already hosted a party to christen our fireplace, which we've never used, and had many an evening sitting in comfort in the late afternoon sun having a drink. If you need modifications, or even if you don't I highly recommend using Alex for your install- his prices are fair and his workmanship is top notch. 10 out of 10 for satisfaction.

We bought this a couple of months back and didnt want to review until I had a good few weeks with it. So here we go. It was well packaged and arrived quickly. To be fair, assembly wasn't a breeze but.. we followed the instructions closely and it went together pretty well. There were occasions when we nearly got caught out so make sure you read the instructions fully before you start. It took 2 of us 2 days of quietly working away to get it sorted. Neither of us are experts in the field so we took our time. The parts went together really well and it all works as advertised. Were really happy with it in the end. It looks good and works well. We've had a lot more use out of our new deck area in the past couple of months than we have in the past 2 years because of it. It has stood up well too strong winds and rain, barely moving during the worst weather. Overall, we are very very happy.

Put up in a day and half with end louvers. Looks good very happy.

The wall mounted system fitted our existing outdoor area like a glove. This is an average Omaha Beach house, lifted to a classy one. My neighbours have similar Louvre projects (costing $20,000 plus) are amazed @ a $6,500 DIY cost) done over 1 weekend by a couple of 70 year oids. Good on you Tradetested - Brilliant idea - Looking forward to sharing space with loved ones - bring on summer!

Easy to follow instructions- installed single handedly.

After doing a bit of research and shopping around Trade Tested had the best system and louvre side panels that suited our outdoor space. It was pretty easy to put together but would suggest to print off the instructions from the website as the booklet has very small diagrams and print. Thanks to Nic and his great customer service and attention to all our enquires the purchase went smoothly without having to may a trip to Auckland to check it out in situ. Extremely pleased with how it went up and the finished result.

Great Web site, all information needed to make an informed decision. Ordered the louver system online and received immediate confirmation of order. Great communication from supplier as far as delivery details and ETA. Product was well wrapped and there was no damage to any of the Louvre system. Good assembly directions that were easy to understand. Two of us had the full Louvres system assembled within a day. Just needed a little tweaking of the louvre screws to stop some of the louvres binding (we had overtightened them). Very happy with the louvres will now order and install the optional blinds for them as well.

the 6x4 louvre roof has transformed my deck from an absolute heat trap to a useable space. Great quality and really pleased with the result.

Gear arrived on time, was easy to install, pretty good value and all seems good quality so far.
