Product overview

Create the stunning, multi-use outdoor area you’ve always wanted with this sleek, architectural louvre roof.

The integrated crank system allows you to easily and smoothly open or adjust the louvres. Open it right up and enjoy that perfect Kiwi summers day or keep it closed when the weather is changeable - the integrated gutters and internal downpipes make this roof system truly all-weather.

The crisp charcoal powder coat finish and contemporary style blends well with most outdoor areas, while the straightforward instructions make this a great DIY upgrade. The built-in gutters feature hidden outlets through the foot of each pole, letting the water disperse without the need for ugly pipework everywhere.

With its strong aluminium frame, louvres and galvanised fittings this roof system is built to last, while being easy to clean and maintain.

Each bank of louvres is operated by a separate gear crank system, so you really can tailor the shade to your needs. Keep one half cool and shady, then open the other side to vent the BBQ.

This amazing value free-standing system is the ideal way to add some architectural style to decks, patios, pool areas or any other area that you want to transform into a stunning outdoor living room.

☆ Note on accessory compatibility: Blinds are compatible with existing 6x4m and 6x3m Louvre Roof Systems on all sides and shutters panels can be positioned anywhere as both these models feature centrally mounted cranks. Both accessories replace the corner bracket during installation. For 4m sides (3.7m post to post) use a single 3.7m blind or up three 1.23m shutters. For 3m sides (2.7m post to post), use a single 2.7m blind or up to three 0.9m shutters. Treat 6m long sides as 2 x 3m sides for blinds & shutters. See images above for more details.

Q:
Can you put these side by side to make 8m x 6m? Cheers
A:
Yes, these can sit side by side, you will need to trim the base plates to make them flush. You might want to add flashing in-between too so water doesn't get between the units.

Q:
If the corner bracing is removed to accommodate a blind, does that weaken the entire structure in high wind?
A:
No, the structure is plenty strong even without the corner brackets. The blinds are made by the same supplier as our louvres, so they are made to go together well.

Q:
How does this system withstand very high wind zones? Where we live, we experiencing wind gusts up to 50km. Thank you.
A:
The Louvre is not rated to be in very high wind zones, they have been wind tested to 75km/h in direct winds. Being near to a house or other structures helps to break up the strength of wind gusts.

Q:
Is there a fall from back to front
A:
Not with these free-standing models. They have an internal guttering system that disperses the runoff to the front and back where the water is taken to the ground by the downpipes within the legs.

Q:
Are they totally waterproof when the lourves are closed?
A:
Under normal conditions these are designed to be weathertight, high winds could cause some flexing causing momentary gaps, blocked gutters, abnormal levels of rain could result in standing water that could seep through. But generally they will be watertight.

6x4m wall mount Louvre roof system

Very happy with the final product. Instructions were good, and managed to fully assemble it on my own over 2 days. An extra pair of hands would be handy when fitting the main beams. The wall weather shields needed some trimming as they are slightly too long. Unless they are intended to overlap, but that didn't look right... Be careful not to lose any screws, as there a no extras!

Lovely outdoor area now

The 6 x 4 Louver roof system looks great and was pretty simple to assemble. A two person job for sure when putting the frame together and only took 3 days to complete. *Hint for first timers, make the louvers click into place for a perfect fit and be prepared for a lot of cardboard recycling.

New deck, new 6x4 Louvre

After reading others reviews, we decided this was for us. The louvre (and 1 x curtain) was part of the planning of a new 8x4.8M diy deck - only 50mm above the ground. The roof line (due to a house extension) meant we only had 2350 below the eve, yet this louvre was 2300mm high. Fluid planning happened... and we are delighted with the finished product. I got the guys from work around to help with the main frame after I'd attached the base plates - you need an extra 2-3 just for the main frame. The biggest secret is starting with a perfectly flat surface - like my new deck! Spending 30 minutes positioning the legs so diagonal measurements (under the top frame) are identical is the best 30 minutes you will invest! Everything afterwards aligned perfectly. The louvres dropped and clicked-in without any fuss as everything was straight. How long did it take? 3 hours for the main frame - team effort. 3 hours for the louvre install - mostly solo. 1 hours curtain install with 3 people. 3 hours - diy drainage through the deck + extra silicon sealing around the base of the legs. It stays almost water-tight even in a downpour but I'm not delusional... add wind and things must get wet. Summary - when you see the quality of the extrusions, it is money very well spent. We looked and many options at the Hamilton Home Show - all cost 2-5 times this cost. None of them looked any better. 5+ Stars!

6x4 White Louvered Roof

I am very pleased with the new addition to my home. It makes this area feel like an additional room to my house. This area gets very hot and I can now sit in shade and enjoy view of garden. The two young men who erected it did so in less than a day. They have erected other Trade Tested roofs but this was the biggest they had assembled. Judy G Mosgiel

Great louvre system

Made a huge difference to our deck and entertainment area. Everyone comments on how good it is. We did get it erected by some builders. Love my louvres

Love it!

This system is awesome, definately worth making a working bee out of putting it up, it's great to have a few people working it out if you want it up in a day. Looks great, plenty of headroom for tall people and waterproof! Everyone wants one

Just what we needed

After investing in a new 90m2 deck we needed something to add to the functionality and complete the aesthetics. Looks slick in black and functions really well. I didnt think about the heat element, on a hot day this does give off alot of heat, but the black def looks better than white IMO. Under heavy rain the internal gutters can not handle the volume so it does leak everywhere, but under normal rain, its perfect!! We love it
