The set comes with a single wall mount so you can easily attach it to the side of your house. Or alternatively get an extra wall mount then you can simply clip it on when you need to water a separate part of your garden. Each mount can rotate up to 180 degrees making it super easy to reel back in.

The unit is made from Anti-UV Polypropylene, so it will last for years. While the upgraded, heavy-duty spring is designed to ensure reliability and longevity. The UV protected anti-kink PVC hose comes with all the standard fittings you’ll need to get the water running immediately.

The advertised description says: " Includes standard anti-kink hose and fittings", but your answer to two related questions indicates that it is not an anti-kink hose, which is correct?
A:
The hose is reinforced so it will kink up less than a standard garden hose. That is not to say that it is immune to kinking up though.

Yes, I can confirm this comes with one Mounting bracket. We have them available for purchase separately too, if you would like an extra spot around the garden for it

The Screw holes for the wall mount are 70mm wide by 164mm tall.

Can the hose be replaced if it gets damaged or would the whole unit require replacing?
A:
The hose inside this unit is held by a large wound spring and this makes it quite difficult to repair or replace the hose fully. In most cases, we recommend that you replace the full unit

Hi, can the hose easily be manually wound back in if the retraction system fails for some reason ?
A:
Not really, we'd be surprised though - we haven't had a retracting mechanism fail in 4 years of stocking these!

Is it possible to replace the hose that connects to the tap with one longer than 2 metres? So I can have it wall mounted further away from the tap.
A:
Its all one piece of hose, so it's the end of the hose in the reel, ie not separate. But it has a standard fitting, so you could just get a Gardena hose coupler and connect another hose to the existing piece to extend it.

Yes, as long as the fittings are the correct size.

Can the unit be locked to a wall so its secure and can't be lifted off? Thanks
A:
No it's not lockable, but if it's a concern it's very easy to lift it off and put it in the shed until you need it.

Great retractable Hose Reel

I already had a 20 metre Retractable Hose Reel so it is a solid endorsement that I bought a further 30 metre version. The convenience of being able to reach anywhere around my house with a reliable retractable hose is excellent for washing the house or any other use for the hose. I give this product a solid recommendation.

GREAT VALUE & MORE IMPRESSIVE THAN EXPECTED!

Had to replace a 30m Gardena after it died painfully just outside of warranty and was totally rejected for any help by the manufacturer!! Saw this Tradetested product and thought, for less than half the price of the Gardena its worth a try. Cannot fault it, been a few weeks and we're super pleased with its performance, fitted easily to the fence, robustly built though we used alternate hose attachments than the ones supplied, but highly recommend this hose reel.

Great hose

We were looking at the more expensive option but after reading the good reviews went for this one. It is sturdy and the retraction is great, just what we needed. The plants are happy as they are all watered twice as much now! We bought the second mount a few weeks later so we can move the unit when washing windows. Very happy with it.
