Q:
Hi, what does the ’hot dip‘ exactly mean? Is it something toxic that might end up in my vegetables?
A:
It's the galvanising process used to prolong the life of the steel, the zinc alloys (galvanises) with the base steel, it is not a painted coating that can come off in your veges - thankfully!

Q:
Can you join the gardens together to make a oblong one
A:
It's not designed to, you probably could however you would most likely need to add some strengthening in the middle anyway, so you may as well just place 2 units end to end rather than combining.

No regrets purchase

Assembly did entail asking my neighbour's assistance with his drill but in expert hands, the task was complete in about 5 minutes! It look good and certainly improves the productivity of my vege garden, adding multiple layers on top of Howick's clay!

Very happy with raised garden bed. Would love more but having to buy a lot of bags of soil which was expensive.

Raised garden bed

I’ve just bought my second raised garden bed as I wanted to increase the amount of veggies I grow. Very easy and quick to put together. I was very impressed it even came with the chuck for my drill making it super easy to put together. Five stars from me

Good Product for the price

These are sturdy and pretty decent quality for the price. I like the wood finish and prefer it to other similar items on the market. What I did not enjoy was the assembly. It takes ages and is extremely difficult to do if you don't have a second person helping you. I would recommend a couple of clamps if you have access to them, as it helps to hold the pieces together when you are drilling in the screws which are self screwing. There are A LOT of screws to put in which overall helps the sturdiness of the design. End result is good, but getting there wasn't enjoyable and I'm sure improvements can be made to reduce the effort of assembly.

Easy to assemble and quite tough

I purchased two because of the positive reviews and I wasn't disappointed. These are sturdy and more importantly easy to assemble compared to most others I've used.

Probably good value

Bit flimsy but as long as you're not going to move it, it does the job. Would buy again
