Q:
Cutting/ shredding 44mm depends on what? A Bit misleading,
A:
It depends on a few factors, such as how hard/soft the material is, how fibrous it is, and how dry it is. For the best performance, you want solid and dry materials

Q:
Will this handle flax or cabbage tree leaf
A:
Not really, sorry. This is more suited for twigs and branches. The fibrous material may jam more frequently and you need to adjust the blade gap keeping it as small as possible

Q:
Can it cut and shred palms from palm trees if dry
A:
These cutting-type shredders do struggle with palm fronds, but they can process them. Make sure you adjust the blade gap to the smallest size, and note you may need to pass the material through multiple times for the blade to fully cut through

Q:
Will the shredder cut bamboo?
A:
Yes, it can. For bamboo, it can help to let it dry out before shredding

Q:
How does it do with green stuff? Does it get clogged? If so, is it easy to open up and clean out?
A:
It can still work with some green material, As this is a cutting and crushing type of blade the harder and less fibrous the material the better the result. If needed you can take off the cutting area face plate to clear out jams and do maintenance

Q:
What does the adjustment wheel on the side do?
A:
The wheel adjusts the cutting mechanism of the shredder. You can use this to get the right shred on different materials
