Hyundai Garden Shredder Quiet 2300W 60L Bin

Very impressed with chipper mulcherj. Very easy to use. Great for all my pruning.

Never having used one of these before, I was a bit skeptical as to it's capability but I could not be more pleased with it's performance.

Needed a garden shredder to cope with tree trimming, and general garden maintenance. This Hyundai 2300W electric shredder has eaten Titirangi garden waste like tree branches (easily up to 40-45mm - if it fits in the slot it will cope with it), ferns, tree roots, and DRY bamboo. Have had no jamming issues, and it's quieter than other similar shredders I've seen/heard. Recommended!

This shredder is very good for my use. A little chunky on some branches but is ok. Gets ride of my pruning to compost or mulch. Very pleased.

I had tried a similar product a neighbour had and found it was good for producing great mulch/chip for the garden from small branches and after some research landed on this one. Generally works very well and good design, my only comment would be if you have long straight branches over 30mm it can struggle a bit and then overheat, sometimes this is just on one branch once it gets part way through. You are best to mix up the material so it is not working too hard for too long and cut larger material into short sections.

Much better than I expected it to be

My first try wasn't good when trying to mulch cuttings that had been cut and piled for various times. The key hole feed was tok small to get bushy branches in and it hated the drying wood. Even though it was mostly well within the 45mm size I ended up with large bits that weren't really fit for my compost bin. 1 star so far. However later I cut a bunch of long branches from a camillia and other trees and adjusted the blades a little and wow. It ploughed through it, including 45mm so well. Nicely built machine and easy to clean up. The keyhole entry allowed quite branches through and final material was perfect for compost bin. I recommend this schreder

I was very impressed with this machine. We had a pile of hedge clippings that would have filled 4 trailers. This machine dealt to them no problem at all. Easy to use, portable and economic to run.

It is quiet and shreds well, even very leafy stuff. Recommend taking time and putting only 1 inch branches through, then its not working too hard and motor should last a long time. Was surprised It makes a quite a fine mulch. Spares for blade and cutting wheel readily available I am told.

Have had this only a short time but so far are very pleased. It is really good for shredding small pruning as stated.
