Q:
Does this have a bump head to advance strings? It says automatic feed but looks like my current model that needs to be advanced by hand when stopped and turned over to pull cord through.
A:
It does not have a bump head to advance the strings, it has an advanced automatic line feed which uses centrifugal force to release trimmer line as it is required.

Q:
Roughly how long will a fully-charged battery last in terms of cutting time?
A:
With the smallest 2.0AH 40V Battery, it's around 15-30 mins depending on how tough the stuff you are cutting is. We have the larger capacity 4.0ah and 6.0ah 40V batteries if you need more work time

Solid, Lightweight Trimmer with Great Power

Ive been using the Greenworks 40V Line Trimmer (305mm skin) for a few months now, and overall, Im very happy with the performance. Pros: Powerful for a battery model It handles thick grass and edges with no problem. The 305mm cutting width makes quick work of medium-sized yards. Lightweight & easy to handle Even after 20+ minutes of trimming, it doesnt feel too heavy or awkward to maneuver. Quiet and clean Compared to petrol models, its so much quieter and obviously no fumes. Great for suburban use. Quick line feed system The bump feed works well and saves time when you're trimming a lot. Cons: Battery life varies If you already have Greenworks 40V tools, its a perfect addition. But on a single 4Ah battery, I get around 2025 minutes of solid use. You'll definitely want a spare or a larger capacity battery for bigger jobs. Skin only Just a heads-up that this doesn't include a battery or charger. Make sure you already have one, or factor that into your budget. Overall, the Greenworks 40V Line Trimmer is a reliable, eco-friendly alternative to petrol models. Its perfect for small to medium yards and occasional heavy-duty trimming. If youre already in the Greenworks ecosystem, its a no-brainer.

Strimmer

Works great, easy to use

Works well

I got this trimmed as a free bonus with a 40v lawnmower. It runs for about 40mins on a 2.0 Ah battery and seems well balanced. A bigger battery would be too heavy. Line installation and feeding seems easy. Recommended

Goes well

Trimmer goes well. Would recommend. The head is smaller than others I've used which I think has some small impact with it not being as aggressive on some grass, but is good for the price you pay.

40V Line trimmer

I'm finding this very convenient, just pick it up and go. The safety cover is wider and I have to use a different angle than with my old petrol one. Also the line feeds every time it is started & this works ok but the thin line wears quickly. I sometimes need to stop it & pull the line out manually. Fortunately there is a button on the spool to enable this.

Greenworks 40V Line Trimmer

The Line trimmer is lightweight and easy to use. I mainly use it on moderately overgrown edges, with the heavy stuff I trim top first then bottom, it works well, no problems
