I’ve had this for a few years now and in that time I’ve cut around 20 cube of tea tree with it, including knocking the trees to begin with. Can easily go through a 300mm log. It’s got heaps of power and has no problems going through hardwood, and it’s quiet. I got 3 batteries, just because if I’m out cutting I don’t have to worry about running out. Highly recommend this saw. Won’t bother with gas again. The ‘better known’ brands are just way too over priced.

Used for half a day with 4mAh battery. Simplicity and quiet. Handled everything I threw at it including a massive stump. Easy to assemble. Has more power than expected. Lasted all day. Very different feel from petrol - simpler. Great purchase for my occasional needs around a few properties.
Looks to be of good quality (although only time will determine durability of course). The 4ah battery coupled with the power of the chainsaw was enough to cut up a fairly sizeable tree that recently came down. Competitive price compared to what's available in diy stores and the Greenworks machines have had some good independent reviews. I really like the fact that you can replace/adjust the chain with no tools. Only minor downside is that you do need to keep checking chain tension as it seems to slacken off after a while (I suspect due to machine vibration rather than chain stretch). Also very quiet and less vibration compared to petrol equivalents.

This chainsaw is awesome. I bought it to cut down some large trees. It goes as well as any petrol-powered saw without the hassle of fuel, oil and starting and it is quieter. It has good power, and the battery lasts all day. The chain is easy to adjust without tools. With the battery in it is a little heavier than a petrol saw.
The 4 a.h. battery gives 15 minutes of continuous cutting through 300 mm logs. The saw has the power to easily cut logs this size. This sized battery is better suited to trimming, where it has a much longer life.

This saw appears to be rugged enough for frequent use and is well capable of performing the tasks for which it is designed. It is also quiet and easy to use.

excellent saw, a little heavier than I expected, but great for trimming off the small limbs prior to the big saw. Goes quite a time on a single charge. Gobbles the oil , need to watch this!
