We have had ours for 5 years now,Just installed our second cover last summer. It works very well for the price point how ever here are some tips : Buy some wooden pegs for it and hammer those into the ground and tie it off Point it away from the wind ( Put against a fence) Buy some pool noodles they will assist with the wear and tear on the cover Buy some pcv tape and tape over the screws and joins to keep them in place The door straps are doing to perish quickly just tie them up Buy your self a shade cloth and put it inside to assist the plants
Second year up, still going strong
Steel work finished to a good standard and easy to put together. I used ground screws and tire screws to hold against the wind. The zips need some sort of lock or clip as strong winds work them open. A good purchase.
Great easy to set up
Made well. Have experience very high winds this year. I sledge hammered 3x stake and just bunji corded them down and hasn't moved anywhere. If anything the quality of plastic is not great as I have only had mine for month's any already started to wear. Will upload Pic when I am able.
We have completed our tunnel house ready to go. Took us a day to sort out. Just noticed few issues with the product. The zip doesn't work very well and the sticky ties are very weak.Other wise we are happy with the product. Looking forward to grow our greens. I would recommend to others.
Evergreen Tunnel House Greenhouse 3m x 6m Honest Review If you're after a straightforward, reliable tunnel house, don't look past the Evergreen 3m x 6m model. It's surprisingly easy to assembleI'd recommend having two people, but your partner could probably manage solo if needed. One key tip: anchor it down properly. It can handle wind well if it's secured with ground pegs. Without that, youre asking for trouble. Our cover has lasted four years and is only now showing moderate wear around the frame. A great hack? Buy some UV-stable plumbing pipe insulation and fit it over the frame. Itll reduce friction and prolong the life of the cover. The zip is decent quality not industrial-grade, but fine if you're gentle with it. Overall, this is 100% bang for your buck. It's a solid structure that's helped us grow fantastic fruit and veg year after year. Great value, especially if you're just getting into gardening or want a cost-effective growing space.
Easy to put together and the cover is strong enough. Good value. Care must be taken to have a fairly even surface to build on, to protect the frame.
Perfect plants are loving it
On sloping ground so had to have a level pad created. Once that was done then easy item to erect. Drove some 500mm Waratah standards into ground and secured the frame to these. Wife gave me a hand to pull the cover over and secure it to the frame. Then established some bed sides to create garden down one side and across the back. The idea of the other side is to have potted plants along there. Planted tomatoes, lettuce and also pea and bean seeds.
