a: These have no measured rating, so we can't guarantee wind resistance, however going on our customer feedback below, they're pretty sturdy for this type of product. Definitely worth the price. I have a range of fruit trees including avocados in there. Let's the right amount of sun through and 3 ventilation windows on each side and a large door at each end to regulate the temperature. Very spacious. Putting it together would be faster with 2 people. Will need to anchor it with warratahs in the corners for strong winds. Mine held up in a storm no worries. My one critique would be that it only has 2 cross bars at one end and not the other but can't complain for the price.

Small Tunnel House

We bought two tunnel houses. The first smaller one is erected and we have filled it with containers and planted. We strengthened the joins with tape and put Waratah’s tied with rope on the corners to make sure it was sturdy & strong. Last addition was net curtains at each end to keep the butterflies out & create good airflow. On windy days we will zip up both doors & shut some of the window blinds. We find it a good option for growing our seedlings, veges & berries. Good value. Only negatives were lining up the screws whilst holding it together, it took 3 of us. Also would be a good option to have air flow blinds on each end. Love our tunnel house. Now we need to put in the big one!!!

Just set it up this weekend and I'm very impressed. Great value for the money, good height too. My head doesn't touch the top when I stand upright like it has in the last 2 I've had. Frame is sturdy and pretty easy to put together. The Allen key did round off by the time we finished setting it up though.

2x3 meter tunnel house with lightweight pipe framing - read all the instructions first and then lay out the base - easy to erect - and I placed mine onto a 250x50 timber wall base to give a wee bit of extra height. Although people might think these are lightweight, I already had a larger one and they withstand wind really well - so go for it.

The Evergreen Tunnel House Greenhouse is a great buy. I am amazed how hot it is inside the greenhouse. The plants and seeds I have sown in there are thriving. The greenhouse is also sturdy and it has withstood some strong winds in the past few days and is still in place. The greenhouse was Ok to assemble, although I had trouble erecting the framework because I did by myself. This job would be easier with two to hold the frame while assembling. The outside cover was easy to put on by myself as I am tall. I am glad I purchased this product and recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

My partner and I are both very keen permaculture gardeners and also being vegetarians our produce is very important to us. A few months earlier we constructed a 6 x 7 metre beautiful garden which we refer to as our Temple meets Bollywood meets Hunderweiser garden as we have decorated it quite creatively, both being Artists. However one thing was missing - yes a tunnel house for raising seedlings, over wintering plants, and a bit of general storage etc etc.. we had been recommended Trade Tested tunnel houses and a month a go we decided to order one for ourselves..It has proved to be a really great decision. When the sun rises, we unzip one end to greet the day. Various friends have set them up to their own requirements however we are happy with the personal decisions we have made. We both love it. We did do some extra beefing up, due to our high winds at times and bound the joins for extra peace of mind etc. great product all way round ...highly recommended

Thank you very much for your email to check on the greenhouse, much appreciated. It's been really great so far. We were impressed with the design and strength of both the metal poles and the cover as well. We were gifted the 3x6 m version of the same tunnel house and that has been awesome, so we chose to pay a little more to get this one too, instead of one of the cheaper options. We have tried a couple of the other ones, but none we've tried has had as strong and well designed frame as this one. Having the nuts/bolts instead of plastic holdings is much better. Also the inner cover attachment to the frame by a separate flap of plastic with velcro is much better and reduces the chance of the cover ripping. We have it in a sheltered spot and it hasn't had an issues in the wind. Thanks very much, and we have already told numerous people about this one, and have plans to buy more of these, as we set up a camp for families on an off shore island.

This is the fourth tunnel house I have purchased as I have gifted them to my sons for their gardens and kept the first one for myself. The strong winds can be a problem but by placing them in an optimum position and anchoring securely we have managed to overcome the problem and continue to grow fantastic vegetables all year round. At present I have my new seedlings growing in there and have had an excellent result from seed I managed to purchase before lockdown and can now supply friends and family with much needed plants for their gardens.

This greenhouse is good enough that I bought my second one this year. The fasteners used to hold up the window covers and doors are the weakest spot in this product, they break after a while, their plastic can't resist NZ summer sun. The plastic sheet can rip at the edges if they rub against the frame, better cover the pointy bits with tape.

Very pleased with the 2 tunnels - simple to erect and only needed help to get the covers on. Mine are on a concrete pad, so anchoring took a bit of thought - ended up with a timber frame anchored to concrete and the tunnels to the frames using saddles and chain with techscrews. Plan to grow with autopots in one and hydroponic nft channels in the other. Would prefer windows were further up the sides to allow more heat to escape.

Pretty good value for money. I put a 4x2 frame around bottom pegged to ground then run 1” strap bracing, as used on a farm shed walls, over greenhouse bottom frame. Nailed to timber both inside & out. Also used galv poles, ex tent, as extra bracing inside at cnrs to add to what was supplied. By doing this the frame is now nice & firm. Also run a strip of strap bracing, lengthwise down centre of roof, to stop cover sagging with snow

Two doors from us had a green house and last year it was torn to shreds with the strong winds.I was reluctant to buy one but thought if put up as per instructions , this shouldn't happen. The last 2 nights have been really gusty and the greenhouse stands firm. I added y posts for extra anchorage but don't think it's necessary. I'm happy and the plants will be too. What a great setup it is.

This an excellent product. My husband and I are both retired it took us longer than we thought to put together but it was not hard. Our plants inside the green house are romping away. The framing is strong and easy to put together, just lay it all out before you start, the green house cover appears strong and is just placed over the frame and secured. I would give this product 10/10.

My fourth polytunnel this size. Cheap to buy and freight. Easy enough for a woman in her late 60s to assemble alone. I use permeable horticultural fabric in summer to avoid excessive condensation. Great product! Every home should have one.

How my garden grows!

So happy with my purchase. It arrived within four days, only took two people 40 minutes to put together. It has stood up to the extreme winds we had recently. In just over a month I have so much growing, mostly from seed, due to the extra warmth my new tunnel house provides. I am so glad I purchased from trade tested. The value for money, great service and awesome products means I recommend them and their products to friends, family and anyone else who sees my tunnel house and asks where I got it. One very happy gardener!

I bought one of these 3 years ago and it has produced enough produce to support our household and more. It is well made and has endured many a storm until the last storm that tore a seam. So i have bought 2 more. I highly recommend these greenhouses if you have limited space.

Erected the greenhouse in an exposed north facing location to maximise sun exposure over winter approx 1 week ago, and it hasn’t budged in inch in the recent 100km/h+ Wellington nor wasters. We pegged it down with heavy 40cm stainless tent pegs and 8mm cable ties.

Easily assembled tough greenhouse

The greenhouse was easily assembled and my plants are now growing happily in it. During the recent storm, when winds were in excess of 120 km/h, the tunnel greenhouse proved itself exceedingly tough. I had not secured the greenhouse down as well I should and the winds lifted it some 3 meters high and relocated it 4 meters away. Despite this beating, the greenhouse stayed in one piece and it has since been placed back in its original site.

Very Stable

Very easy to construct, very stable, handles high winds. We have a waratah wired to each interior corner and I just put bricks around the perimeter flaps (I couldn't be bothered digging a trench as directed in the instructions). Have since purchased a 3x6 tunnel house which I constructed and put cover over all by myself (45+ woman), no worries. I put 4 waratahs along each 6m length side, a total of 8 short waratahs. When high winds are predicted I do put bricks along the door flaps also as they do flap back and forth and I don't want the zips at either end to be opened from the movement. They are all situated in very exposed positions and get the full force of Taranaki's high winds. Only concern is; how long will the zips last? Time will tell.

We bought our tunnel house to use as a run for our Swedish black ducks and added, thanks to my husbands ingenuity, a Trade Tested garden shed for their coop. The tunnel house is strong and ideal for the purpose we chose. Our duckys love it and it looks really good in our back garden.

Tunnel is house is well did not show it opened both ends and we didnt find out until were putting the cover on..we would have situated it differently had we known, but no big deal... One of the zips is a bit sticky and I fear it may not last long.. But otherwise happy with it..
