Evergreen Tunnel House 2m x 3m Replacement Cover

These covers only last about 30 months before the clear plastic degrades allowing rainwater to penetrate the canopy. The green mesh remains perfectly intact - it is just the clear plastic that degrades in the ultraviolet light. The plastic clips utilised to retain the rolled up door panels, are the first thing to break under NZ's ultrviolet conditions, and they only last about 112 months. It is a pity the manufacturers don't provide some high-level ventilation panels in the roof of the cover, as even with all the side vents open, if the doors are closed, temperatures can easily get sufficiently hot to damage plants, so even in Winter, during daylight hours, we have found in the Bay of Plenty, that on most days at least one door needs to remain open all day, and be closed up at nights. All said however, the cost of canopy replacement still leaves me thinking that it represents pretty reasonable value for money and replacement is very easily undertaken.

Fitted well even though frame is a little off square, Easy to fit and survived high winds. May be back for a 9x3 later. Good company to deal with too.

this is my second one I have had the first one for 4 years , but its worn out,lots of wind did"nt help. as it is summer still I will put the replacement one up closer to winter, I have had lots of fun planting plenty lots of seeds ready for the spring, heaps of vegs in the winter. as there is only two of us, the small tunnel house is big enough.

This is our third cover. One improvement is that the window flaps fold up on the inside and not the outside of the cover; hence, less wind damage. Awkwardly, the left- and right-hand ties for both the doors, which are sewn in, have been left at different lengths, making it hard for a neat 'roll and clip'.

Took a little while to arrive but absolutely stoked to have it installed. Got 31/2 years with original cover so if this last as long all good
