Manifest your gardening dreams with the aptly named Palram Glory Greenhouse, a robust and thoughtfully designed structure that provides the ideal environment for cultivating plants year-round.
This greenhouse features premium 10mm twin-wall polycarbonate panels, which are high-impact resistant, and flexible. These panels offer excellent insulation, protection against strong sunlight exposure, and complete UV blockage, plus 79% light transmission. Unlike traditional materials, they are 100% UV protected, ensuring they do not discolour, fracture, or shatter, and they maintain their integrity in all New Zealand weather conditions for many years of reliable use.
The Palram Glory Greenhouse is equipped with an integrated internal and external anchoring system that enhances its structural support during harsh weather conditions. Ventilation is expertly managed through the two automatic roof vents that regulate heat and humidity, and a side louvre window that enhances airflow. The automatic vent openers operate without electricity, opening and closing as internal temperatures go above 12°C-15°C.
Built for durability, the greenhouse boasts a reinforced aluminium frame that is 50% thicker than standard frames, providing extra rigidity, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance. Assembly is made easy with a smart sliding assembly system that uses uniform profiles for all positions, simplifying the process without compromising strength.
Ease of use is another highlight - the door handle offers provisions for installing a lock for additional safety and security (door lock not included), while the large hinged door can be installed to open either left or right, depending on your preference. A low threshold ensures easy access, and a bottom door seal brush strip keeps dirt and chilly winds outside where they belong.
Inside, the spacious design offers high headroom at 268cm and tall eaves at 191cm, providing ample space for trellising tall and leafy plants.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting, the Palram Glory Greenhouse combines durability, functionality, and convenience to help you create the perfect growing environment!

We bought this greenhouse (size: 8x12ft) in April 2025. The greenhouse came in three large and heavy cardboard containers. The packaging was intact, with no dents or damage. At the time, however, we were busy with other backyard landscaping and building a storage shed, so we did not start assembling the greenhouse right away. By the end of August, we finally began building it. First, we poured a concrete pad in the sunniest part of the backyard, then started assembling the greenhouse on top of it. We carefully read through the instructions several times and also watched the installation videos on Canopia's official website. The instructions were mostly clear. They are primarily picture-based with numbered parts rather than long blocks of text, which makes them easy to follow. We assembled the greenhouse strictly in the order shown in the instructions. The main structure went up fairly quickly: my wife and I spent less than a week on it (and that included a few days when I had work or we were rained off by strong winds). One important tip: the manual states that the anchors should only be fixed into the foundation at the very end, once the greenhouse is fully assembled. This means the structure is unstable during assembly. If strong wind comes through before it is anchored, the greenhouse could shift or even blow over. The solutions are either (a) check the weather forecast and complete assembly on calm days, or (b) temporarily secure a few screws into the foundation to prevent the greenhouse from moving/being blown away before finishing. You also need plenty of space for the boxes and tools, and at least two tall ladders (around 2.7m high) for working on the roof. During assembly we noticed that some of the aluminium frame extension parts are joined with plastic connectors, which looked like potential weak points. The twin-wall polycarbonate panels also felt very light. However, once installed, the overall structure turned out to be sturdy, and the panels fitted perfectly into the side grooves, with almost no risk of falling out or blowing away. Both the roof vents and the louvre window vent work well, and the automatic roof vent openers are fantastic: they open and close based on temperature without electricity. We absolutely love them. A few days after we finished, the area was hit by strong winds (gusts up to 100 km/h, might be even stronger), and the greenhouse stood firm! Pros: (i) Attractive design (we think it looks better than most aluminium greenhouses sold in New Zealand) and very sturdy once correctly installed and anchored: it really can withstand strong winds. (ii) Relatively easy to assemble. Two people can finish in less than a week, at least the main structure (I strongly recommend reading the user manual in advance, which is downloadable on the website). (iii) The 10mm twin-wall polycarbonate panels provide good insulation, preventing frost inside during Dunedins cold winters. (iv) The high roof gives plenty of space for plant growth and good air circulation. (v) The automatic roof vent openers are practical, durable, and work perfectly. (vi) The rain gutters look good and function well. (vii) The door is solid, windproof, and comes with a good-quality lock. Cons (i) Expensive. (ii) The manual does not provide exact measurements for similar screws and polycarbonate panels, only part numbers, which made it harder to tell some parts apart (for example, Parts 8192/411, 4008/4045). (iii) In theory, every part should have a label matching the numbers in the manual, but some aluminium frame parts had lost their labels. We spent extra time checking to make sure we had the right pieces. (iv) Most parts were in perfect condition, but a few aluminium frame parts had scratches or dents. Some dents affected the fit during assembly, so we had to repair them. Luckily, nothing was beyond fixing. (v) Although we drilled the holes in the foundation correctly, three of the expansion bolts (Part 4000) snapped when tightening. We bought replacements of the same diameter locally, and those worked fine. (vi) Both roof vents were installed exactly as instructed, but they leaked heavily during rain. (vii) After the greenhouse was fully assembled and put into use, several polycarbonate panels had condensation inside, and some even collected water during rain. In theory, they should have been sealed well... Overall, this is a fantastic greenhouse, and we really love it!
