Product overview
This automatic roof vent opener is designed to automatically control the temperature and moisture level in all Palram Canopia greenhouses.
When the air inside your greenhouse warms, this vent will gradually open to allow the correct amount of airflow into the greenhouse, and will close when the optimal temperature is reached.
The vent arm was designed with a metal cylinder containing wax which expands when heated to push a piston, which raises the window, as the air gets warmer, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring and resetting the piston. All you need to do is to install it on your roof vent window and it automatically starts working.
The Automatic Vent Opener operates without the use of electricity and is compatible with all Palram Canopia greenhouses including our Mythos range.

It was a must for the new greenhouse as it takes all worry of ventilation away. It is my second one.
Had to adapt fittings slightly to install in my particular greenhouse but very pleased with the result. Openers work perfectly - start opening the roof windows (4) at 17.5 c and close as temperature drops.
Brought this opener for our glass house, had my doughts about its operation, but it perfect, easy to fit, opens and closes , keeping glass house at the optimum temperature. Its like magic. Would highly recommend to anyone with glass house.
I bought this instead of the evergreen specific one as this unit has the a pin you can pull out to quickly disable it during high wind. It wasn't hard to make it work on my Evergreen green house. Well worth the extra Money
