Cleaning up your garden has never been easier. The strength and revolutionary design of this chainsaw will ensure durability and a smooth, precise cutting experience. There are no pull-starts, fuel mixing, or harmful emissions to worry about, just juice up the battery and get on with the job.
The ergonomic design means a well-balanced tool for superior cutting, meaning the DigiPro chainsaw is a great choice for pruning, while the over-mold grip handle and wrap-around handle ensure comfort, with safety taken care of by the large hand guard and chain brake.
An LED battery level indicator light makes it easier for the operator to determine battery life, and the translucent oil tank offers clear view of oil reserve to ensure the 16” bar and Oregon chain are kept lubricated for sharp cutting. Tool-less chain tensioning makes for quick and easy adjustments.
Powered by the interchangeable G-MAX 40V Lithium-ion battery system which delivers longer run time, higher performance, and greater output on all G-MAX tools (battery and charger sold separately).
GreenWorks Brushless DigiPro Series is an innovative solution for your garden tasks that rivals petrol-powered tools. Combined with the 40V G-MAX system, the Brushless DigiPro Series features a powerful brushless motor that improves the battery efficiency, delivers more power for greater performance, produces less noise and vibration, and extends the life of the motor for exceptional durability.
Traditional brushed motors tend to wear down over time, reducing efficiency and power. With a brushless motor, you can expect the same performance as the day you purchased it. The gear reduction design of the brushless motor also delivers greater torque.

Used for half a day with 4mAh battery. Simplicity and quiet. Handled everything I threw at it including a massive stump. Easy to assemble. Has more power than expected. Lasted all day. Very different feel from petrol - simpler. Great purchase for my occasional needs around a few properties.
Looks to be of good quality (although only time will determine durability of course). The 4ah battery coupled with the power of the chainsaw was enough to cut up a fairly sizeable tree that recently came down. Competitive price compared to what's available in diy stores and the Greenworks machines have had some good independent reviews. I really like the fact that you can replace/adjust the chain with no tools. Only minor downside is that you do need to keep checking chain tension as it seems to slacken off after a while (I suspect due to machine vibration rather than chain stretch). Also very quiet and less vibration compared to petrol equivalents.
This chainsaw is awesome. I bought it to cut down some large trees. It goes as well as any petrol-powered saw without the hassle of fuel, oil and starting and it is quieter. It has good power, and the battery lasts all day. The chain is easy to adjust without tools. With the battery in it is a little heavier than a petrol saw.
The 4 a.h. battery gives 15 minutes of continuous cutting through 300 mm logs. The saw has the power to easily cut logs this size. This sized battery is better suited to trimming, where it has a much longer life.
This saw appears to be rugged enough for frequent use and is well capable of performing the tasks for which it is designed. It is also quiet and easy to use.
excellent saw, a little heavier than I expected, but great for trimming off the small limbs prior to the big saw. Goes quite a time on a single charge. Gobbles the oil , need to watch this!
Excellent product, easy to use and has plenty of cutting power.Greatt product for a oldie.
Clean, reliable, does the job. Simple to maintain. Buy some chainsaw oil with it. Battery best stored at room temperature & mid-charge (as per instructions).
This is the best saw that I have used in my garden. No fuel to mix. Just press the switch and away you go. Great product and great price.
Second one because the first one goes so well and is still going
