Does the gas for raising the lid need to be replaced? Does it leak out?

All gas struts will lose pressure over time, but these will last an exceptionally long time due the low weight being exerted by the lid. We've been selling this model for 7 years and have never seen this issue.

These two have not been designed to match so there will be a slight difference in colour. Both are a dark grey colour/black

Keter Outdoor Storage Box

This is the second storage box I have purchased, this one is for my garden equipment as I dont have a garage, eg Shovel, spade, hammer, etc. The instructions are easy to follow and I am not a handy person , but I managed to make up the box with no problem. The box is great and can be used as an extra seat when friends come around. Thank you.

Great storage box for my out door furniture cushions, already wet weather tested and not a drip of water inside. The only problem encountered was centre pivot hinge, if a little too full it would pop out, not the fault of the box l just tried to put too much in it. Solved the problem by modifying with fixed steel pin to hold hinge in place. Very happy with product.
